Anyone here use these? I downloaded a couple of games and MP3s with this program, and it is pretty good. However, I can't seem to find a good site to get movies from. I was looking for things like:

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

King Arthur

Spiderman 2

and a few others... all the sites I seem to find via google don't have good links and none of them download. Either that or I get something like 650+ hours for a 1 gig file... not happening.

So, does anyone know any good sites? I downloaded some anime from www.boxtorrents.com and they were good. Got the entire Outlaw Star series, but now I need movies. Any sites will help. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, mostly because I find it to be the best quality stuff, even if it does take so much longer than everything else to download.

I am searching suprnova.org for those movies now. Hmmm, I wonder what Harry Potter will be under...

Spiderman 2 is running nice and should only take 6 hours, however, Harry Potter is a no go.

Bit Torrent can be really slow, really fast or of course medium. It all depends on how many people are seeding (uploading) the file you want.

I find most files are indeed slower but no spyware, no adware, so I use it. EQII character creation disc is on suprnova

BT is great for certain...mature movies. Unfortunately, 4 of the top 5 adult oriented BT sites closed down, and the last one is membership only, no new applications, so everyone here is probably out of luck.

Anyway, the real reason I'm here...

Anyone know a good BT site for anime? I'm having the hardest time finding Full Metal Panic, and I don't have the money to shell out for the DVDs.

i find that although alot of ppl have the files, they are usually missing the last megg or kb of it... very annoying cause then i sit there with a uncomplete .bin myself

I use IRC cause torrents are slow like a mofo. Check out the speed i'm getting right now, doesn't get much better than this.

It was going around 210-230 ish.

I get 30-140 kb/s on most of my torrents. They usually go up to 300- 350 kb/s though so patience is not really a problem.

I'd like to use the torrent but my downloads go mad slow, because my router ports aren't forwarded. My router says it can forward range ports, but i don't see anywhere that you can.

Looks like i will be sticking to irc in the meantime.

Irc is not that bad. I would rather use mirc to share cds than BT but otherwise...heh

HELL i'd rather use USENET than any other p2p prog. Usenet is the shiat and you can find anything on it. I got photoshop 7, halo combat evolved, FF7, dozens of movies....

Bittorent is not the best way to download things, I find its only useful when you want to download something that had just been released or is very popular. But if youre after a game like IL2 for instants its almost impossible to get.

But if I use Torrent I go to suprnova.com

Also, if you guys want a good P2P, get DC++. It is clean, no spyware, adware, or anything. I ran adaware and spybot search and destroy and it was clean. It is free, the only obstacle that may stop some people from getting any files is that most servers that you go to require at least 1 gig of sharing quota or else they boot you.

great site, if u grab the newer ones normally alot of seeds, and the larger a portion you have the more your speed increases, I'm passed 800k for speed while downloading 1.2gig files. But then I get times when I'll only get 5k...

If you haven't seen it yet, Naruto rocks. they repacked alot of the seeds to get them in bundles of 10. (they are up to ep92) **ADDED** Stick to the ANBU-AonE releases for Naruto, best quality subs.

i use something called EXTG receiver... and well, it kicks all these programs booootays, heheh, im not sure if you can still download it, but i might be able to pass on to you- via instant messanger or somethin,
