Been playing since beta and love every second. THe combat style is not restricted like other MMO games, quests are meaningful and the instanced based questing is awesome.
Seriuously though, we did have a server merge but I still group whenever I want and have a blast. THere are always issues with every game. What I am saying is give DDO a try and you will never go back to the grindfest of WOW and the boredom of LOTRO.

Really is the most fun MMO out there right now in all seriousness.
It's great unless you're a D&D purist that is, as it bears little resemblance to the pen n' paper game. Also very long on the instances, and very short on open, explorable world. Some don't mind, others do. I do agree though, the missions are some of the most interesting and immersive of any MMO i've played. That alone was almost enough to make me stay, but alas, i simply abhor Eberron. And then they added dark elves. . . that was just too much for me to bear. But oh how i wish other MMOs would make their missions/quests as fun as DDO.
