Is the patching process SUPPOSED to take 16+ hours? Just wondering x_x

Well you are downloading the whole game excluding probably KoS, DoF & RoK expansions.
Sometimes stopping it and restarting it will knock down the timer some. (progress made will not be lost if you do this)
