well after a year off i decided to go back to DDO. imo the graphics are stunning compared to other mmo's. they have expanded soo much, although it is still geared toward group, not solo play. i am only lvl 3 atm but i eagerly wait for what is to come, even the old stuff has been revamped, no more killing for nothing hurray! with spell additions like knock and blur, DDO finally approaches something more like the PNP. even the end rewards have been revamped. i can only hope more people decide to return to DDO and i can only say if you are looking for a good group mmo give this one a try.

Awesome, welcome back.
Grouping isn't bad at all if you have people you enjoy grouping with. You may have to PUG with several people till you get to know someone who is in a guild that fits your playstyle. Then you'll see grouping is a lot more fun than soloing, even if you don't have a lot of time to play.
