I am seeking an Eve Online mentor.
I have tried the tutorial twice, and I'm about to try it again.
I found the learning curve too steep and just felt lost so I lost interest.... This time I would like a knowledgeable person to help me get through it and teach me about the game so maybe I can stick with it!
Please reply if you would be willing to help, I have xfire and my own ventrilo server so communication shouldn't be a problem.

Mentor, eh?
Just join a Corporation. They will help you become whatever you like, you just have to look for a corp that fits you. Many Corps need newbies and they will train you to serve their purpose, so you get to learn a lot.
in response to the OP: i would recommend joining EVE University. you can join their chat channel before you join to get some help (far superior to the ingame help channel). otherwise experiment!
