Crysis Multiplayer sucks....

Just a heads up guy's it looks like it'll be another Far Cry where the single player is fun but generic and the multiplayer will just be horrible. I was playing it at a GC running on a alpha buil apparently but the multiplayer is just not fun at all, was on DX9 and there was hardly any physics on it like tress didn't fall over and vehicles didn't explode when you shot them which was weird. The whole multiplayer felt like run around a restricted part of the single player island and kill people where noone ever won or lost and it was just pointless and not fun at all.

Kind of what I expected. I'm really interested in the game from a single-player standpoint, I have plenty of other FPS on my PC to entertain me multiplayer style. Thanks for the info, though. Where did you get to play it?
Am I supposed to be surprised? Most great online games have shitty single player(UT2k4, BF, CSS{Doesn't even have singleplayer campaign}, off the top of my head.)
Most great single player games have either no or a crap multiplayer mode(HL2, F.E.A.R., Stalker:SoC, FarCry, off the top of my head.)
Single game that comes to mind that had great both is CoD2 for PC(never played CoD3.)

Exactly right. Most great single player games usually have some form of deathmatch and capture the flag for multiplayer, which just doesn't cut it anymore. The one exception I'd put in was Wolfenstein, whose multiplayer was a precurser to Enemy Territory. Even then, the single and multiplayer game styles were markedly different.
<sarcasm>There is no way this game can suck, I have pre-ordered it. ANARCHY! < /sarcasm>
The single player looks amazing, hopefully I didn't waste my 5$ on my pre-order. If it gets lower then a 8/10 or 4/5 or B or 4/5 stars im going to be pissed.

They already said that the DX9 Multiplayer doesn't have any of the fancy physics. The DX10 Version will though, each one is supposed to have separate servers.
I was reading your post and taking it seriously up until this part. . .
Please don't post your review of any game currently in alpha. It is not complete, it still has bugs, most of the time all of the content isn't even there.
The demo launches soon, wait until that before you begin judging the game.
Alpha build. . . pffft.
