Tomorrow's CB pushed back three months

The skCB Aion: The Tower of Eternity that was supposed to start this month has been pushed back three months (oct-nov 2007.) translated brief.
One might notice on the NCsoft site (Guild Wars, Tabula Rasa, Lineage3) no mention of beta nor anything on the teaser site.
Guess most of us are considered 'fallen' and only local sk will be 'chosen' to access the CB.
This Crytek Sandbox (Far Cry) engine game will need a serious gpu (shader 4, +512MB) and DX10 surround-sound card.
Non-grind race vs race rating pending, winged 3D-flight, dynamic combat, and a serious eye-candy 3D world are just the basics of Fantasy genre Aion. A kind of Lineage transformer system is already implemented in game. July 2007 invitation-only E3 preview compare to the 2006 open E3 preview
Some might have heard of Robert Garriott (CEO) who runs NCsoft in the US (Texas.) Although he is somewhat concentrating on servicing L 1 & 2 and CoH (City of Heroes) atm.

They claim this will not affect the release date.....
so your saying that because its pushed back in korea, this wont affect us and we will still get it on time??! YES this game looks awesome
As far as I've heard the game is playable on both DX9 aswell as DX10.
It's Crytek engine 1 people not 2, just in case the Dx10 mention is misleading.. It will most definately be playable with DX9 with 128MB memory, that's playable though at a reasonable performance which might even be great performance if you are used to games that frequently leak (eqII anyone?), for max performance then yeah 512MB and DX10 is more then awesome. Ncsoft is really great at making beautiful games that run smooth on most people's PCs.

NCsoft Announces 2007 Second Quarter Financial Results
NCsoft Corporation reported second quarter 2007 sales of KRW 75.9 billion (US$ 82.1 million), operating income of KRW 10.6 billion (US$ 11.5 million), and net income of KRW 10.6 billion (US$ 11.5 million) all on a consolidated basis.
As for the third quarter, NCsoft will launch Lineage II´s second title The Chaotic Throne: The Kamael, and officially launch SP JAM and Atrix which are currently in open testing. The company´s next large-scale MMORPG game Aion will enter closed beta testing on October 31 in Korea. In North America and Europe, the first expansion for the Guild Wars franchise, Eye of the North will launch on August 31 and Richard Garriott´s Tabula Rasa will release in the fall.

XLGames, the game company founded (2003) by Jake Song, former Executive VP of Development at NCSoft, and creator of Lineage announced that they have entered into an agreement with German developer Crytek to license the award winning CryENGINE® 2 for middleware in their newest MMORPG.
