mounted combat

in World of Warcraft

dose anyone know if there will be mounted combat .. like if you ride a horse into battle.. or are they just steeds and you cant fight on horseback ?

i really hope you can fight from horseback ..

1,2 buckle my shoe 3,4 knock on the door 5,6 pick up sticks
7,8 GO AND SKATE !

    you cant fight im in beta at least not at this time it is just used for transport

    No mounted combat , mounts only are for transport and prestige.

    yeah that sucks but at least now if you're on the nightmare and are hit you dont dismount.! yay for that!!

    i hope they give pallies mounted combat on their chargers. BACK TO THE D&D BASICS! //007

    I hope they NEVER put in mounted combat.

     

    It'll just create more problems then what it'll bring to the game.

     

    BALANCE issues people. If mages can cast while mounted WHY would they ever want to DISmount? They'd stay mounted and do hit and run all the fricking time, as would every other ranged class, and melee classes could chase down any unmounted range class and make short work of them, destroying their only advantage "range" in a flash. So basicaly anyone WITH a mount will be better off than someone withOUT a mount, hence EVERYONE would always be mounted, and then if that's going to be the case, why even have mounts? Why not just make everyone run faster all the time?

     

    They'll never have mounted combat, just be glad they have mounts, most games won't ever have mounts. I'm just glad they're there.

    So far they did not add any mounted combat such as chargeing and fighting on mounts but Katricia from the blizzard crew said he would mention it to the development team about that. That woduld realy b cool

    IF they do insert any mounted combat; i hope the stats are unchange, such as when you are attack on a mount it would do the same damage off mount; Only for show not for better stats or anything
