in Everquest II
Greetings all. I just bought EQ2 and have about an hour and a half of downloads left. I am not new to MMO gaming but I dont know crap about EQ2. Could some1 please point me in the right direction. Im looking to start a Dark Elf Necromancer.

In terms of help then the newbie forum at the official EQ2 site is probably the best place - http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/forums/show.m?forum_id=2590. In particular the two stickies at the top are worth a read.
Also ask in-game. you will have access to /ooc and also level dependent universal channels. Use the latter - someone will usually help with questions.
Necro is a good class to solo all the way to end-game if you want. Grouping starts at about 15ish if you like (e.g. Wailing Caves in CL), but there are opportunities before this (e.g. The Sprawl), however you might find it difficult on some servers as people generally blast their way up to their 20s now very easily.
