World of Warcraft: 3 Beta Giveaway!

MMORPG.COM is proud to present another beta contest!  This time we are going to be giving away 3 beta accounts for World of Warcraft.  Unlike previous contests - we will only be selecting exactly 3 winners on July 12, 2004 at 9PM EST who will need to confirm their ticket within 24 hours to get the prize.  If they fail to claim their prize we will redistribute the prizes as we see fit.  We felt that with only 3 prizes to give on such a high-demand prize would only cause more chaos ;-)

    What kind of message are you seeing?  I show 140 people are already in the contest...

    I had an error too but I went back and clicked it again and it entered me the right way

    It was just some long database error with script code in it heh but it looks like it entered me

    it's nice to see a completely randomized contest for once... many of the other ones were excessively easy to cheat on or were just plain rediculous. At least with this quiz you won't have too many blizz fanboys screaming that it was unfair, although unfortunately this was linked to their forums, so therefore everyone's chance just became almost equivalent to the chance that aliens will arrive in your backyard tomorrow to tell you the secret of life and give you an alchemist's stone (or sorcerer's stone for you harry potter peoples). Oh well, at least there's that extra tidbit about logging in every day ::::20::

    Anyone who created an account *yesterday* will have the exact same chance as elder members...

    However - because we are giving bonus tickets for every 3 days you login between 6/30/04 and 7/12/04 - as time goes on the number of bonus tickets you can earn drops...which reduces your odds.  But if you entered today then you have virtually the same odds...

    now if you can do the same for EQ 2 and get a few extras for that as well you will truly be gods in my eyes. 

     

    I hope I get into one of these betas soon so that I can learn the games and help de bug them for the better enjoyment of all when they go live
