Actually air quality is rapidly improving and has been for decades, with new restrictions and laws. So don't get down about that. That's a great thing to smile about.
Personally I think smoking isn't cool, but everyone has their own rights and its their own choice to kill themselves slowly and painfully. Many people i know died or are suffering consequences because of smoking, and really people its HARD for people to quit, so there should be some places people can smoke in, where they can smoke in peace, and where they will not give second hand smoke to anyone but ecahother. :P Also people should stop prejeduicing people because htey smoke, I know I used to, everyone has the potential to be a good person whether they smoke or not, but please any smokers do like digity and ask the people u are with if they mind if u smoke.
Sometimes I even feel bad for smokers. Some smokers are so addicted that in the middle of work they will take a break to go outside in the freezing winter just to smoke one tiny cigarette! That's crazy and they deserve some credit for being so devoted! Bravo!
I only live in Ohio, and here it can get lowest around -20 or -30 degress fahrenheit. And that's just Ohio! Wait until you go further north like Canada and Alaska! Those are the true smoking heroes!

people where talking about where in the constatution does it say smoking is a right? well where in there does it say you have the right to drink alch?? or the right to drive?? please show me those. It not a right but a privlage that can be taken away at anytime but when not all the smokers speek up and only the weeklings non smokers speek up we lose that privlage. As i see it though until cows, cars, and coal power plants are made illegal i will smoke. Also this country was foundd on marjuana and tobacco. Also a acre of hemp produces more paper and cloth products than a acre of trees. why would they make hemp not marjuana illegal?? lets see the one reason i read that stuck in my mind is that kids will try to smoke the paper thats friggin rediculous. when its made into cloth or paper it losses all THC the drug. i do all the time give people more credit than they deserve but come on hay lets smoke this ream of paper man is something not alot of pot smokers would do. Oh forgot also that acre can be regrown 10 times if not more faster than the acre of hemp.

The only reason it is allowed to continue, is the profit it brings the gov't in taxes (eg. in a $2 pack of cig the gov't gets $1.50 in tax revenue.) So what if it gives people cancer and respiratory distress, the medical community needs it's share of sickness to get people to pay for treatment.

You know how they say there are 4000 chemicals in a single cigarette? They're wrong. There is a site out there that tells you the ingredients in each different brand of cigarettes. You can search by brand and get the list of ingredients. Last I checked, none of them contained rat poison, and cyanide. Yay for propaganda.
It said it contains some chemicals that rat poison contains. Which it does. Not the ingredients but the chemicals. Chemicals and ingredients arn't the same thing. There are 4000+ chemicals and 200+ poisons in cigarette smoke.
