LOTRO end up best selling pc game for april

This is good news. the game is selling well and this is a clear indication of it.

Of course this date alone does not mean too much, just that sales after release were very nice. Now we have to waitt and see if it can stay there for months to come.

As a comparison, however, take in mind Vanguard never reached 1st spot and was on the chart just one month at 7th spot I think.

Have a nice day

The PC top 20 for April was topped by the latest addition to the fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing genre. The regular edition of The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar was the biggest title on the oldest gaming platform, and the special edition of the game landed in eighth place.

I am sure WoW and Burning Crusade will be back in #1 and #2 spots for May however just the fact that LoTRO bumped them out for a month says a lot. It would be great if LoTRO can  stay in the top ten for a while. So far in May it has been #3 May 5th, #3 May 12th, and #4 May 19th so it is definitely still selling a lot of copies.

I trust Turbine on that. But I got used to it when they were developping a niche game such as AC1 and AC2. It wouldn't mind as long as the population stay healthy, wow can keep its players I don't mind..

I don't know anybody who is not burned out of WoW right now. All respect friends I have tried WoW but all left at some point. I think Blizz overmarket their sub numbers.. BC is boring like Hell, yes I did buy it, doesnt mean it's all happy players and we all just play WoW
