rouge damage?

feldrinfeldrin Member UncommonPosts: 210
I have a level 68 rouge. The other day i was killing level 66-68s and was noticing the amount of damage my finishing moves were doing. For a 5 combo point attack it was suppose to do between 1100 - 1700 damage but it was consistantly doing around 850. Can someone explain this? Why does it do around 300 points less than the low end damage.

I don't claim to be right, I'm just posting.

It's probably damage mitigation from your opponents' armor.

From the damage range you're giving us, it seems you're getting about  25% damage reduction. Now, it's been quite a while since I last played WoW, but I seem to remember a damage mitigation around 20% for another rogue... For classes with heavier armor, it would be even more.

So, I'm guessing that should be it.

If you find that you're doing any damage at all with "rouge", I recommend selecting a different brand of makeup.  Lancome is really pretty good, and I'd recommend it.

If you're speaking about swashbuckling game characters of the sort fond of daggers, you'd be spelling it "rogue".

    Thank you.

  • Never seen a color deal damage. It is ROGUE.

Rogues have been passed up by every single class in the game for worth while play class. They are to squishy for their damage. Taking a feral druid who can pop out and heal is far superior to taking slightly better or on par damage depending on equipment and not being able to heal.

It kinda sucks, but hopefully this patch does something cuz rogues haven't been worth playing since expansion.

    It depends.

Most lvl 70 Paladins have an Armer that reduces Physical damage by 51%!!!

its alot but then again how much damage does a Paladin do.....it evens out.

Warriors a a bit less than Paladins but do alot of damage (BUFFED).

Rogues can usally beat any class 1v1, warriors arnt impoosible but its a challenge.

Also Warrior is al about Gear. If  warrior has bad gear hes a noob.

If a rogue has bad gear he can still kick ass

Rogues are good 1v1, but I just had to comment on your "any class" claim.  I could kill about 3 rogues by myself.  Protection paladin with supreme gear

What on earth are you talking about? If a warrior specs prot, only feral druids have more armor, and learn to use the word noob in a correct way. You are not a noob if you have bad gear, you simply have bad gear, end of story. A noob is rather someone who doesnt know a shit about how to play.  And one more thing... whats up with all the !!! after 51%? its not very much you know, go check out how much damage reduction a druid in bear from have.

I still don't understand how people can make the mistake of calling it a "rouge" after 68 levels.

First of all, i do realise that Druids had gotten quite alot of buffs this patch. But Warriors would still be able to beat them.....

and WTF you talking about Druids? non one mentiond druids, and then you come and complain. Go Home kid...

Warriors are the most challenging enemy for a rogue. Because of the huge dmg and armer. But Druids v Warrior. Warrior would win.

Warriors make a bit more dmg but have a bit less armer. Most druids quikly stun then heal, and then warriors kill the caster for lack of armer.

^^ Im just repating what i was trying to explain to you. Even though you complained about something what wasent in the Topic.

No offense, but i might only have 1 70..... but thats enough for not being a noob.

    Go Home kid.
