how about "endgame" skilltree or rare abilities???

spell born should do this as the answer to people whining that there are no end game mega items.....

how about ultra rare and not so rare skilltree sets???   like in diablo2 when u u fill up the entire skilltree...  but in spell born what if ur say an elite level and u do some ultra hard quest and u open a treasure or speak to an entity that grants u a new skill set to add to ur overall skill tree? maybe an ultimate  fireball "just for example" and there will be 3 tiers of that.... and so forth

and then when u pvp with some poor schmuck u use ur rare powerful ability and they will be shock in awe at ur awesomeness.....

p.s. i wish there was a way to powerup dbz or bleach style! to show poeple how powerful u are just by powering up... maybe the new dbz mmo will do this

In spellborn, skills have open slots. If you are familiar with WoW's Burning Crusade expansion you can think of it like jewels. The jewels are called sigils though in TCoS, and you are allowed to attach them to skills as well as equipment.

Instead of getting a new ability, you will be able to obtain high end sigils that you can attach to certain skills to improve their effectiveness. No details have been released, but the possibilities should be self evident. You could have two identical Rune Mages that have elected to greatly enhance power on separate abilities through sigils.

This means one Runemage could excel at AoE nuking or something, while another runemage might choose to enhance speed or defense. This is all accomplished by adding sigils to skill and equipment slots.
