Is it nessecary for a Rogue to be in a PvP realm?



Does the PvE Realm take the fun out of a Rogue?

    Well, iv'e never played a rogue but I guess it doesn't really matter, it's up to you, rogue can also be alot of fun in PvE, and you can always do some PvP on normal servers too, so it's up to you, either PvP always or sometimes, personally I'd prefer going for a PvP world, because that's one of the cool things about WoW!

    Ok, lol then it wont really be a good twink, because i wont transfere an gold, but then id be allowed to kill any enemy faktion on SIGHT.

    doesn't really matter because you're stealthed more then half the time

    Rogues are fun regardless of realm type.  I have a 60 Rogue currently.  He was my first character.  Rogues are great fun for newer players as they can explore and accomplish content which they wouldn't be able to otherwise.



    For example:



    - There is a quest for RFK which requires you to summon an animal to sniff out items you need.  Most classes require a group to tackle this quest.  As a rogue you can sneak past the guards which are higher level than you and find a nice safe spot to use complete the quest.

    Rogues were good pre-TBC now their meh. I had lot more fun playing my rogue before they changed weapon skill, ever since 2.0 I've had no real desire to play it.

    I don't really play my rogue either.  I got owned when they changed the PvP rewards and erased all of my honor.  I was a step away from accomplishing my full srt of rare armor and many other goodies.  I have a lot more fun with my Priest.

    Yep - I remember that one. I stealthed it with my druid. With my warlock I just killed everything in the way. Achieved much the same result.

    i have a rogue on both a pvp and pve servers. They are more fun on pvp but its very hard to find a group or raid becasue rogues are a dime a dozen on pvp servers. Once you hit 70 its more about getting a raid than a group but still hard on pvp. But i think you get the most of of the class tho.

    rogue is the best in open pvp in my opinion so

    if you go with the pve server

    you wont benefit from the main advantage of this class



    i for myself played a rogue on pve til 46

     then i switched to pvp couse

    i wanted the thrill of open pvp

    now im playing happily a lvl 70 rogue on pvp server



    you surely wont be asked into groups like a priest or warrior

    but you still can go into instances

    you just have to build the group by yourself through asking arround

    just waiting for an invite wont work
