    That ban was too damn slow. Sorry, but people were asked to stop spamming 4 times by GMs/Devs. Sometimes being polite is not effective as being to the point.

    Agreed, if someone says the same thing three times in a row then they are spamming and should be immediately kicked/banned.

    I did laugh though at the comment the GM made about being fascists.

Just ban him? they kicked at least 600 people and They banned 2 of the guys from my corp for spamming stupid stuff as well. By the way when the bans got put in place they were permenant bans that got changed after the event with out a petition. Wild guess was they were taking the easy way and putting the proper bans in later when they had a chance. Taking stuff out of context from a single POV again I see.

    And do you blame them that guy and severall others were deliberatly dirupting a ingame event with what was in the end GIBERISH!!!!

     

    In the end when you are playing an ingame event do you really want the important GM chat disrupted by spam. What was done to those people was in the end right  in my opinion.

    Honestly, I don't see what the big fuss is about. Those people were being complete asses. It wasn't just any game event, but a live, interactive chat with the Devs. They could have done it remotely, kept everyone muted, not taken questions from players, or not even had it at all. Instead they wanted our feedback and made it public. Can those people really not understand why they were dealt with so fast? I'm glad.

    If this was real life, that would have been the equivalent of a bunch of goons** storming into a public Press Release and screaming at everyone. I guarantee you that that would end in no less than security or the police coming to escort them away. I see no difference here.

    People think that the anonymity that the Internet gives grants them the right to be assholes or morons. Irritates the hell out of me.

    Looking at the individual tags of the people talking in that channel this guy hadn't said anything up to that point and simply mentioned the Whistle Blower's name. That wasn't spamming, that was just CCP getting a case of the ass and using a size 10 Ban Bat inappropriately, more of the attempts to whitewash the whole issue by getting rid of anyone who dares to say anything that CCP doesn't want to be reminded of.

Of course if you ignore what was really going on it makes a much more dramatic and actually seems like he didn't deserve it.

    People only post what they want you to see ot try and make their point seem more valid, if he was spamming with the others then he deserved a gag as did the rest of them. That is so long as the rest of them were served with the same fate, if this was an example of past behavior then the ban was definitely justified provided the previous steps leading up to it were used as well. Sometimes it takes a shovel hit to the face to get someones attention, and online games are flooded with people using the anonymity of the internet as means to ruin someone elses playing experience.

    So, thanks for showing me that the OP was like so many individuals, not providing the most accurate account of his behavior in an attempt to create controversy. To the OP enjoy your temporary ban and I hope you learn from it.

    I'm pretty sure he's talking about the obviously sarcastic comment provide in the reason for banning.

    yes, i find an incredible amount of humor that ccp banned the accounts of the person that publicly exposed their CHEATING, in such a way that they could not deny THIS instance of their cheating.

    Oh dear not this again that guy [KUG] cheated himself, He hacked he revieled personall details. Its no wonder he had most of his accounts banned. Im not going any deeper into the T20/Kug thing today as ive done so many times before with the other Trolls and ive learned that no matter how good the argument it wont change there minds.

    As to that image you posted i find it a very good sarcastic joke and a deserved one considering waht this spammer did. And he got what he deserved.
