Reasons Runescape DOESNT suck

These VERY good reasons are.....
- Its fun at first.... and people say that its boring after u get to level 60 blah blah blah. Have they ever tried becoming a member. When you pay for it you are a member, not only do they get the other 2/3 of the map but everything that a non-member will pay loads for they can get for free.
- Suuuuure you can be reported, Suuuuuure your account can be banned, but its not really that hard not to, just follow the veyr simple rules
- Scaming is EASY AS HELL!!! People in runescape are compele dickheads! (mind my french) they ask you to transfer things from one account to another, so you just run off. Also the whole filter thing is a great pass scamming device... if you know how to use it. Because if you say suck it will come up as ****, so just say, " hey look the filter blocks your passoword when you say it ********, when all you are doing is pressing the * buttton, and gullibale noobs will belive you.
- the last reason is a good reason, there so so many skills to use, even non members have things like fishing, mining, smithing, cooking, crafting...... and because all skills can be leveled up to 99 it will take ages but will be rewarding in the long run

I would play it... If they made a Runescape 3 with graphics like VG, changed the combats system and had the same member/non-member system, allowing me to play for free.

rofl, two posts on the account, always makes you think 'troll' and I really hope this guy is cause that guide was hilariously bad whether genuine or not. I hope so because if it turned out to be genuine it would be so cringingly pathetic as well as being laughable and poorly executed.

Reason not to play Runescape: It's one gigantic ubar grind-fest with no degree of difficulty at all...given enough time single-celled bacteria could be trained to master the gameplay.
Runescape killed my Father. It shall suffer....
For a java script game, I give RuneScape a 5/10..
Members is really nothing different, except that you get better PvP.. (Castle Wars)
also i got to lvl 105, was a member and all and it still got so boring after a while and i just stoped playing.... i couldnt force myself to play it lol...

Okay this is just pathetic that your rying to make people play runescape..first off JaGex is runed by alot fo dickheads and they care way more about money than their players more than any mmorpg including Blizzard Entertainmment and their WoW, or Silkroad online...a good example of this is the swift switch riots when JaGex banned 3rd party software which made gameplay way better than using the web broswer which made it less likely to get hacked if using swift switch because strider (guy who made it) is way more reliable than using your web broswer to play it.
I would also like to add that the rules are absolute bullshit, they just added them to protect the little kids that enjoy the game which they clearly say in their user agreement when you create a account that you must be 13 years or older to play or must share with a parent which breaks their rule number 6 which says you must not share with anyone including family members. I posted this on runescapes official forums complaining about the biggest mistakes they ever made and they locked it due to "complaining about other members" which i was just complaining about the user agreement and having little kids play and annoy you all the time.
I would also like to add that JaGex are the biggest retards around and the clans in runecape are almsot all raned by nerds who watch over their clan thread all day long and bump it. Especially the RSB gazzete dickheads who all they do is write news articles about up and coming clans wit good potential and have ranked war tournaments everyonce in a while and are way political...almost as much as if they were tring to run for president..which makes me think maybe their just practicing, anywayz the RSB gazzete freaks and their clans and all are mentally retarted dickheads a good example is back in the time my friend owned a warring/pking clan and we warred this clan called Death Shredders and we beated them in 5 minutes and their leader jaredspurr went and whined to RSb and even kissed their ass until RSB declared that we lost for cheating and for accidentally killing the referee...thats why you have back up refs...
i agrre why bother with runscape when maple story is so mutch more enjoyable baffles me??
Man Runescape is cool. i played for like 3 and a half years but my friend wants to skrew wit my accounts so im gonna steal from his house but thats besides the point. Maplestory is a piece of shit it sucks dick. Runescape is sick as hell yea graphics sucked b4 but now, somany things are so much better. you seen the dragons? you seen the demons?Demons look like Satan yo dead up. Mad things to do you can scam mad ppl i was a career hacker i once hacked a lvl 90 something called crumz20. it aint hard tell ppl u are a memebr and they ask u to do it. their passwords are rarely hard to crack after they change it when they figure u out. Crumz20's was windows98 and he upgraded his pass like a cpu to windowsxp the dipshit. easy hack i got full dharoks and guthan and ahrim adn karil like dat and 7.2m

I'll just say this, Runescape doesn't suck for me for 2 reasons.
1. Even though I have a custom-made computer that's not very old, I have dialup which slows me down A LOT!!!
2. I enjoy it because it's a very simple game and when you get almost all your skills to 99, it's fun to just walk around messing up people's days.
Sure, you guys might consider me a noob to the MMORPG industry, but then again, the only MMORPGs that my computer will support are RS2 and Diablo 2: LOD. So with that I will say so long, and farewell. Yea, I'm leaving to go back to my addiction. *Starts playing Runescape like a crack-addict*

I play runescape, i play quite a bit, im not addicted though. I am well above the age restriction, too. What i see as the only wrong in this game, is the lack of moderators. And ofcourse, the lack of moderation in-game. The forums get cleaned enough to stay ok.
What i do in the game is up to me, i am completely free to do what i like. That means i only do the quests i need, i only open the areas and weapons i need to. Other than that, i skill, fight, and constantly train my skills to further hone myself.
I do not do this without limitation, i have a clan, not rs-forum based. In this clan, i am 2nd leader. I run the PvP Team of the clan, and am quite happy with our proceedings there. + the fact that runescape is evolving into a grand game which suits my style.
I do understand that you think the graphics are bad... but look at it this way, what if i dont care squat about graphics? I play the original ping pong still, stripped of graphics. Shitty quests? i dont do them.
Cursing? noobs? scams? i avoid them, and when i see them i report them, this makes me happy. I have even had "jagex mail" telling me that action had been taken on the persons i did report.
I have played: eve online, wow, maple story, last chaos, some other free mmorpgs... i have returned to RS each and every time. EVERY time. why? the game style allows for more proggresion for less time than both wow and eve(Eve was slow though...) It is far more fun than other "free" mmorpgs.
Seeing as i am a level 89 combat skill freak(1336 total), i should know what i talk about right now. PKing is the topmost activity for longtime players, add in fight-pits, Castle wars, Fight-caves, gaining a level-99 skill cape. Staking up money, achieving a rare. though, most of all, being in a clan enhances this game more than any other part of it. I really hope jagex soon puts in their clan-addition they promised...
I might add more... I just dont know what more to write about...

as i said before...your oppinion doesn't represent everyones...and you play ping pong still? wow rs graphics must look big time to you...no wonder you play...but stop trying to pretend your oppinion represens the mayority of the runescape players...

My opinion sure as hell doesnt represent everyone! i know that. I do play ping pong for the fact that it is fun. and i think you missed the point with its mention completely.
I hang around with my clanmates and irl friends in-game. almost all are above 18, and most are far older than me... and you call them kids? And where did i say i "hang around" with kids?
I choose what to play, respect it, or lose my respect. I like a good argument, as long as the arguments may be discussed thoroughly.
Runescape sucks, in more than one way, agreed. But i turn that a blind eye, I do that, others dont. Runescape is played by 9 million people... they have to do something right, dont they? Runescape has a bad filter, no question about that, but i can still play and write, and still no get one word censored... the odd ones come when i write other languages or actually write some baddies.
Music engine of RS was just recently redone, awesome music, if you like it... i rather listen to my own music... and the music will be trash for most 13 year olds.
Might i ask why you frequent this forum for a game you hate? to get others to stop playing? i will continue playing, thats certain, though i've had a 2-day break now. (Net crashed...)
I wont encourage anyone to play, ill just tell them to try it out, and if they stick to it, i help them out. I've got 3 irl friends into the game, and 2 internet friends into it as well.
Now, the chat system sucks for clans, i know you agree. no private chat room or organized chat in any way... The graphics, bah, i can live with bad graphics, they are not the soul of this game, its java for a good thing. Java makes it:
1. Cross platform, it supports java, it runs RS
2. Small and compact game, which runs on "older" pc's or laggy modems.

Please avoid green color... hurts my eyes, and dont accuse me of something i do not. fine i will use orange...but u either have really sensitive eyes or you use the computer too much and u play rs in ur dark room and never come out..***

Runescape is probably filled up with loads of things that are bad, agreed, but if i gave up now, id not only kill my clan. But also remove one nice guy from the game, and probably leave someone wondering why.
I dont know where i got the player amount from… was some news article on some us page discussing runescape & the brothers behind Jagex… Cant find it, so ditch that one for now.
I do hear some rumours about a new clan/chat system which should hit this year… the forums went hot for a little while because of it. I really hopes that one gets out, as it will be a major victory for clans. If they release it…
Jagex makes small improvements all the time… though i hope for a big leap, like up to RS 3, would suit well to have one in the coming 6 months IMO.
