Perfect opportumity to persue a criminal career. Police will never be able to prove who pulled the trigger.
Expanding further, what if you could prove one commited murder and was sentenced to prison? Could the other sue for false imprisonment? Or if the murdering one was sentenced to death, would it require allowing the murder of the other? Some interesting concepts of law await if one of them pursues a criminal path. They'd lay down a mandatory accessory to murder, because they'd both have to consent else the "murderous" one would have a hard time walking anyway.
But I'll stick with the other approach: I'll go out with them.
