Black Tooth Grin
"So what is Black Tooth Grin?"
We are a destruction based guild for Warhammer Online. Destruction being non race specific, and we arent to worried about the sketchy nature of the bond thats allowing them to fight together in WAR. We will be heavily focused on PvP… but at the same time we are Warhammer and Mythic fans and will be enjoying all the content the game has to offer… while stepping on the faces of our order sided friends in the process. Black Tooth Grin is about loving a good fight, anytime, anywhere.
We are focusing our to be a tight, active guild, where everyone has an equal opinion. We are not concerned so much to the size of our guild as the quality of our memberbase (do you want to play with 200 ppl you barely know, or 30 of your closest mates? We rather do it Spartan style). We are out to do big things when Warhammer comes out, while at the same time not losing focus of the most important aspect of the game, which is having fun.

Right you are there little Timmy, but like a lot of things in Warcraft it was inspired by things that came before it, and did not coin the expression.
"What kind of Members are you looking for?"
We are looking for mature, easy going, competitive and active players, like any good guild should. Black Tooth Grin is new, and we are building it from the ground up. We believe that our members are the core and foundation to a great guild, so we are pretty picky. The other critical thing you must possess is realizing that a game is in fact just a game... life is serious, your games should not be. So if you are the type of person that needs the waaambulance every time you miss out on a minor piece of loot, save the drama for your mama because Black Tooth Grin isn’t for you.
“So Do I need to have lots of MMO experience or something?”
Absolutely not. We don’t care if you have 300 days played in Warcraft, having obtained every purple, the Sword of a Thousand Truths and more dkp then you know what to do with… All you have to have is a love for the game, and be able to have fun and help out your mates.
"RP?"
Enjoy very much Roleplaying to add flavor to the game, not for sexy time. We definitely encourage it, but we will never ever force anyone to. So I guess we fit into an RP lite category, however we will definitely be catering to the members who love to RP, having events, stories and more. If you are simply out to stomp some Stunties and Elves, and not RP, we only ask that you be respectful to those that do... While trying to keep the majority of the funneh l33t bombs for party and guild chat.
“So what does Black Tooth Grin offer me?”
Well, aside from a website whichour leader is still slaving away over, and a new set of forums for you to post whore on, we will also have a lot of additional content, Ventrilo, whacked out vids*... you name it. As mentioned earlier, this is a new thing, so you also have the opportunity to build this thing up. If you had intentions of possibly starting a guild, wanted to get heavily involved but didn’t know where to start, feel free to jump on the Black Tooth Grin bandwagon.
The Black Tooth Grin also has both US and EU branches, meaning wherever you live, you can be part of something special/crazy. 
*We've already got 1 whacked out Vid, and, it's.....pretty whacked out!

However, our site isnt that pretty, its a little more suited for the forces of Destruction

I see you have an EU chapter and a NA chapter.
Reenala, are you the EU chapter "leader" of sorts? and Blacktooth is the Guild leader of NA? or is that still to be decided considering theirs a lot of time until the game is even close to hitting retail.

Reenala is the reason that the EU chapter started up.
What we are doing is recruiting and treating it as a singular guild. However, we also differentiate between EU and NA members on our site. When the game does come out, and we play on our seperate servers, the most active, involved and mature players will be heading up each guild effort.
It may seem a little ambitious, but all we are actually doing is looking to develop a small, tight active group of players to go into the game with on each server. Given the amount of time we have to do that, we think that is a very realistic goal.

Your new flash site looks sweet, a true destruction guild indeed. You guys really seem to have all your sh1t together, a plan already layed out.
One thing i have to ask is, how did you create such an active community? you have a solid 40 members but more posts and threads in your forum then guilds with over 100 members.

Well I always say aim big, and when BTG formed 8 weeks ago it consisted of me myself and I. I told everyone that we were going to do big things in WAR, and was not going to settle to go halfway. Members started trickling in, people got motivated and voila, you now have BTG become what it is today. Its our members that have made it what it is, and everyone is just stoked at the way things are moving. So we started from scratch, but the things we are setting out to do certainly dont feel out of reach
1)How many members do you want come release?
Looking for 40 Quality members for both our NA and EU chapters come release. This is not a hard cap, however it is going to be 40 mature, active and fun loving players.
2)Do you support members with hectic lives? IE: casual/harcore?
I work 65 hours a week most weeks, I can respect that people have lives outside of WAR lol. While members are expected to be active, and contribute to the community, we dont expect you to drop your lives for it. Also, I do not like the 'Hardcore' attitude what so ever. I am an extremely competitve player, I mean extremely competitive... but at the same time all of us have very positive laid back attitiudes, the type that dont fall apart when the @$#% hits the fan. I believe you can have the best of both worlds, and thus far we have been attracting the people that do.

4)Do you/guild play any other games together while waiting for release?
Various games, from the Arcade on our site, to DoW, you name it. We have a place to actively hook each other up with games we are playing.
5)are you accepting anymore members prior to release?
Yes, we accept anyone with a solid application, as you will see on our forums. I personally dont believe in deciding on a member on an application alone, so considering a good app we open up the boards for potential members and see how it pans out. We do want to only keep the people that really want to be a part of BTG, and make it there own, and do axe the fat. That is a lot of the reason that we have exploded over the past 7 weeks, and have such an active member base.

In response to Question 5 there, Black Tooth Grin's Recruitment, for both NA and EU, is now on the brink of complete closing its doors.
If you want in, you'll need to produce an Application of high standards and show us you're not some random person who wants in a Guild for Beta, you're some person who wants to be in Black Tooth Grin.

This Guild has certainly got originality and the people in it seem alot of fun and at the same time very dedicated and mature players which i hope will let me join and share this awesome to be game with them.
ps your website looks off the scale. i do some work witn photoshop and would be more than happy to help even if you dont let me in.
Glad to hear that you're interested.
At this moment in time, I think I can safely say that our Recruitment is currently filled-up, but that dosen't mean it will be in a week or so. So if you still feel like joining, now is the time to head on over, introduce yourself and get to know some members, then when the time comes when we are readily accepting members, you'll be the first in line.
Unfortunatly for you, you live in the UK, which means you fall under the EU regiment. Which is lead by me.
oh btw how do i enable html and img tags on ur forum or is that admin only
You use the [.img] [./img] *without the dots* etc for inserting Images, and I don't think Junior Members can upload Avatars and such.
I'm pretty sure most HTML and all that is allowed, if you know the Tage to use.
