I would not suggest just buying it for exploration or for any other reason for that matter.. You will end up getting charged over and over for no reason and once you find out what a mistake it was to buy it, it is too late.. next.. tack on a $9.99 cancellation fee (parsay).

Not hard to figger out. Take a gander at their own official forums and just read the topics (problems, problems, problems).

And too, with over 22,000 posts in this forum --- over half are hit to the gut hardcore truth about how lousy this "game" really is, not to mention the account/billing situation --- if ya cant figger out that this game is a total failure and the joke of the mmorpg world, then i honestly dont think that any other answers in this forum will suffice.

Back away, slowly.....then RUN as far as you can from this game. And any other game that the creators of this one may have any contact with whatsoever (and that includes Alchemic Dreams).

I played the game way back in May and i liked it,but there was just too many bugs with to few patch updates. As you can imagine over the period i was there the subscribers started to leave and so the server becme empty. Also becarefull it took me months to cancel my subscription and i know people who are still having problems with click & buy

So ummm, what was it then that you liked about it? With the amount of server downtime (half of the downtime was days on end), bugs, bugs and more bugs, crashing, ALI, and all the other game stopping, puter crashing things happening, what was it exactly that you liked?

If you tell me flying Im gonna disregard anything more that you could possibly add. I played from SOG day one and yes, even the transpo was borked. A big world? Big deal. So I can see how far that mob ran in 2 secs flat to pwn my azz while my armor fell apart? Who cares about seeing in the distance? Take a ride on the flight sim and its the same thing.

Being in SOG from day one, you played the game alot longer than i ever did so ask yourself what you liked?.I already pointed out bugs were the reason everyone left   so whats the point to your post

Iunderstand that this may just a wee bit too mensa for ya but I was like the others and a Pioneer. So "playing" as you insist on calling it, was the waiting time for them to fix what they had no intention of fixing.  As the months and the promises went on, it was then just a place to watch the historic saga that Farlan themselves provided with their constant blatant flat out lies not only to the mmo world, their customers and POTENTIAL customers, but their farfetched press releases. It became a sick game of "oh really Farlan? Then hows come the few hundred left here aint seeing what you are saying"...or lets say it was the absolute hilarious and  way outta line of the excuses they used.

So liked to play it? HAH! Liked to watch the sick and slimy drama Farlan was creating? YOU BETCHA!

And "lack of support" is your belief as to the state of the game? You are way off, wayyyyy wayyy off. Try ineptness, incompetence, inexperience, arrogance, mix it with unethical business ways and you got your "lack of support".....sheesh.

And you still havent answered my question. What was it you liked?

If you feel this strongly over a game i  feel sorry for you,if you lost 50 bucks and it means so much to you i really feel sorry for you .The Fact is thease games are run by companys, companys fail and companys lie...believe it or not thier here to make money. Now were back to the real world,is it possible  you stay out of your  virtual one? .

You must of liked the game at some point or you would NOT of bought a  Pioneer account ...oh wait maybe you would

Dude, get a clue. I already told you I was one of thousands hooked in by their promises and flat out lies. Try 3 years on the forums. When it came time for the Pioneer offer, hell yeh! I jumped at it. Then SOG came out. Within two days, THOUSANDS refunded. I refunded within the first two weeks and cancelled the credit card and changed the cc info at c&b to a false one and never had anudder prob with the billing myself. So yeh, I like thousands of others LIKED what was promised and purchased sight unseen. Farlan blew it, blew it BIG TIME! The entire 3 years prior as a loyal and anxious fan was a scam. Flat out bogus slimy scam.

However, my friends and colleagues did. Well, one of them was kicked not only out of the forums but out of logging into the game itself for telling the ppl on the forum about the no refund fraud they tried to pull. Go figure! So through checking out the hilarious and sick state of the game on a daily basis not only at the office but also across the street at my friends house, i was able to keep tabs. There were 6 of us at the start. By the time the "real game" came out, only one of us got the short straw and stayed just so we could watch this horror story continue.

Didnt lose any money. Didnt lose much time, as the servers were borked most of the time or the game itself was borked most of the time and the most thoroughly enjoyable action I did witness as well as partake in was the daily humiliation Farlan placed themselves in their own arrogance. If you would bother to even flip through this forum pages, you will see page after page after page of well, LOTS and LOTS of us just hanging out here waiting for the next gutwrenching laugh Farlan passes on.

And hey guy, as an owner of not only 1, but 2 (two) companies myself, I do indeed understand companies fail. What I dont understand is the mentality Farlan seems to think that company should be run. Arrogance, incompetence, ineptness, inexperience and unethical approaches do NOT a successful company make. Elementary school wisdom.

So nope, cant say there was nor is anything likeable about the game at any point in this fiasco. Perhaps you may like to get reamed from behind but not me NOR THOUSANDS of other either.

ONce again, if the logic and reason is too much for ya, feel free to show yourself at the other forums. These guys here at this one been here too long for sugarcoated bs coming from anywhere about DNL.

Your a fool to yourself......At some point you liked the game and played it you boasted how you played from day one lol.And as for you owning two companys blah blah blah,i fly  to work in a MIG-29 wearing a santa suit see my point here?

So just face it once you liked DnL  and you left because of the same reasons i did, because of bugs and crappy support. Now go back and read my first post...later

Does it really matter why anyone left the so called game?

Its the worst MMO ever released and there were and are I imagine, plenty of reasons not to put up with this game or the lying deceitful, bastard developers.

You left, i left, everyone (should have) left by now. Why doesn't matter. Long as no one is paying the low life scum bag morally bankrupt company that unleashed this train-wreck on the unsuspecting MMO gamer.

OP, I hope you will pay heed to everyone here, and never support the kind of brutally dishonest SOB kind of company that made (and stole...PIX, anyone?) this game.

No company can be allowed to get away with this. No one.

Hasn't their island sunk into the sea yet? Will justice never be served??

Its getting pretty boring looking over at their site.  There were only 2 posts yesterday on their forums and that is counting the "pay and get ultimately screwed forums" as well as the "thank goodness I got out in time forums."

Only 2 people posted on the DnL forums yesterday?  That's a 100% post rate since both people that still try to play the game posted.  Oh wait, those were posts by "former" players who only stopped by the official forums for a laugh.  Yeah, pretty boring alright.

Don't believe reviews and all the posts out there.... DnL is so bad it can't be described by words.

I heard that putting your nuts on the table, smashing them with a hammer is a more enjoyable activity then loggin into D&L. Just a rumor I heard, probly 99% true.
