Private Servers Illegal

Recently I saw on the Ragnarok Online forum that private servers are illegal for Ragnarok Online.  Anybody know if it is for MU as well?  I recently signed up for Ownage MU and was just curious.  It won't stop me from playing, lol, but I just wanted to know.

    All Private Servers for all MMORPGs are illegal unless the company gives explicit permission.

    As for the wary, if a private servers say they are legal, they are lying. As I said, unless the company gives explicit permission it is illegal.
