what u think of people that plays opposite sex in a mmorpg? is it ok or what? vote!

o0k.... now that i see most of peoples opinions and thoughts.... it is time to voice mine!

i am a young man full of spirit and lust for females..... in every mmorpg i played i always cho0se a female! i love females! i admire females! i worship females! many young teenagers ingame and in my guild say i am gay once they kno im a guy and playing a girl.... but when they grow older and becums a true man they would kno y i always cho0se a female in every mmo! although female charecters in some game is not hot but still i will always play a female in every mmo! (exemption: EverUglyQuestTu) i tried it... ugly female... i quit the whole game.

 

people that against male that love to play as a female charecter is not so mature.... expecially when they say we're gay jus cuz we play a female. ill admit it i play females charecter is for my own guilty sexual pleasure.... loves starring at their a@@! love seeing them while i grind!! i am straight! for that.... i want to stick my eyes on a females bum while i play for long hours not males!



even if i like playing a female due to my perversion.... some people reasons to play a female is not same as mine and may be different... some people dont have any sexual perversion involve...... so saying "u a f@g or what???" is not very mature about it. but in scions of fate... although theres nuttin hot about it.... i jus love playing a female.

however.... i dont be going around acting like a slut and seduce sum1 with my feminem self pretending to be a girl to get free stuff! i dont like guys that thought im a girl and hit on me... it jus disgust me! and it feel awkward! most the time i always say stuff like a guy would... like saying "hey buddy!" or "wow my ass is hot!" "i love my slutty female to0n!" etc... jus shouting clues to the public that im a guy. many have hit on me and treat me so0 nice and given me free stuff! but i will not volunteer to tell them that im a guy if they dont ask.... i will jus go along the flow and continue get free stuff! but! i jus talk and act like a guy to give them clue that im not a girl.... let them find out them self or untill they ask.

in some time and ocasionally i do play male charecter but not seriously and not my main charecter. if i play a male char i only cho0se a tough lo0king guy.... like an orc in lineage2 or titan in lc anyway i always end up deleting a male char or no longer play them....

 and these are jus to show off. i quit lineage2 about 2 years ago due to insane economy, botters and ebayers.... cant keep up! although it got some nice ass female charecters... upskirts! thongs! bend over command! when light elf get hurt sound like japanese porno! etc...

    As to the poll, you need more options, this is an opinionated subject, with varying degrees of acceptance or rejection, yes or no doesn't cut it.

    i don't see anything wrong with it, if thats wrong then playign the game is wrong.  Being something your not would fall into this catagory, so being a knight/Cleric/Warrior and such would be wrong as well.

    There is the additional issue of members of the Transgendered community who ARE the opposite sex of what people have assigned them, but have a very difficult time getting people to understand this. In games they can pick an avatar that is femminine or masculine and not have to deal with whispered back-biting, rude stares, and people with a discriminatory chip on their shoulders.

    I agree.  If it's folks wanting to roleplay a different gender, I'm fine. 

    If it's closet gays trying to trick someone in private chat about "certain non-gaming" topics, I think it's pretty insincere.  Nothing wrong with gays, but liars are to be despised.

    If I have to watch a butt grind through 60 levels, it's going to be a female butt.

    I also suggest every guy here play a female character at least once, just so you see what kind of slobs most guys are.

    BTW, it's a game. Not a dating service. If you want a dating service, I highly recommend EHarmony.

    This topic has been done to death.  It's fine with me until they start lying to people about who they are irl, if you don't like who you are in real life then don't talk about it, it's better to keep it to yourself rather than make up stories.

    I only play female characters and hardly ever get "hit" on anymore.  It's nothing like it used to be in muds or even my early MMO days in UO or EQ.  There are tons of women everywhere, now... not just stuck in the kitchen!    We have become common as muck, thank god!  As for the tired old argument about "if I have to look at a butt, it's got to be a woman's butt"... I don't buy it!  I think all men just want to have nice round butts and perky breasts like we do!  Of course, with todays advanced technology, it's entirely possible.  Again .

    I recently started a human female warlock in WOW.  I took off all her clothes and started doing to entry level quests just for shits and giggles.  I was very suprised how many guys just came up and started talking to me, asking me to dance and stuff.  People are weird.

    True, but ever notice how often you get "helped" when your soloing? It happens occasionly when I play WoW, but it happened a ton in CoH.

    I'd be fighting some Mob solo, doing just fine, then some high level smeghead would run up and kill them "for me". Then they make it sound so innocent by saying "I was just helping you." Strange, I've never been "helped" while playing a male character.

    Heh, Vinzent.  Play more CoV, even though it's not quite up to CoH standard.  People are MUCH less friendly there!

    I did play CoV, but only as a male character. Still, they had so much instanced content that you didn't have to worry much about it.

    Why would I care?  The only people in MMOs that I really want to know anything about are my guildmates and we talk on Vent.  Either way you shouldn't care what gender someone is, they're just there to have fun :)



    If it bothers anyone then they probably need to stop hitting on people in games or stop playing MMOs all together.

    Listen, transgendered people, including cross-dressers, transexuals, drag-queens, genderqueers and so on and so forth are NOTnecissarily gay. We are not 'closet gays', we are not lying when we tell you a gender different than is printed on our birth certificate. We are people that ARE NOT the gender that has been assigned to us, and can have a wide range of sexual preferences and enjoy  a wide range of activities and company.



    I'm sorry if I'm coming off as pissy here, but it can be a more than a little annoying to be labled 'liar' simply because you don't understand the issue at hand. We have a large community of our own, and many of us enjoy playing MMOs and so forth as an escape from the bigotry.



    I am not calling anyone in this thread a bigot, I am saying that you have been sorely miseducated on the issue and am trying to educate you.



    P.S. people who play people of the opposite gender and pretend to be so in real life for NO OTHER REASON than to have their giggles at someone else's expense are doing a bad thing.

    I need to be more explicit in the example I was thinking of.  I'm talking about a guy roleplaying a girl, aggressively engaging in private chat with another guy but representing self as a girl with the intention of duping the other person and getting them to confess to things while thinking they are in someone's confidence.

    Gay is fine.  Crossdressing is fine.  All that stuff is fine and is not really the issue.  Lying is the issue.

    I think it's stupid.  People who play opposite sex characters probably have gender conflict issues.
