So I downloaded the DEAD RISING demo... and it said it was done so I went to the demo tab but its not there. The only demos are the three that started there. Any clue as to where it could have gone?
*never mind* I went into my hd and it said that it was incomplete even thought it stated otherwise.
Guys, in your opinion what games are worth buying? I currently have Gears of War. The second game I'm looking at buying is Dead Rising and third is possibly ninety-nine nights, because it looks and sounds pretty cool.
I know the 360 had heating problems so I was wondering if I should but the fan add-on or not?
Don't buy the fan. It drains the power if it connects to the 360. It kinda distoryed my old one when it was having the freezing problems. You should havethe 2nd Generation 360 so you should have no problems with freezing. Yo can make your own fan though. Radio Shack has what you need.
There is a demo for Nighty Nine Nights too. If you love beat-em-ups or Dynasty Warriors, N3 is your friend.
As for games, GoW is obvious, and what I've played of Godfather seems pretty fun, but I can't vouch for any games beyond that. I would recommend to stay away from Ninety-Nine Nights. It's more repetitive and simpler than Dynasty Warriors and lacks a 2 player option.
I would strongly advise getting Gamefly and renting games to try them out. For the cost of 1 game, you can get the service for 3 months and try (and possibly finish) 10 full games or more. No silly demos that are over in 10 minutes. When you consider that the 360 games are probably going to hit bottom at $30, it's going to be expensive to play through half-assed games.
So I got to play Dead Rising... the only problem is that the text is too small and I cant read it =(
That means that your not using a high depth. I don't know if they fixed that in the final game though. I know with Capcom's Lost Planet it will be fixed and the game will detect what TV you are running on.

I know with Capcom's Lost Planet it will be fixed and the game will detect what TV you are running on. This is one of the reason why I stopped playing console RPGs. Because text has to be so big, not much text can be displayed, so bits of dialog are broken up into segments that are slow to read. I also blame the constraints on presentation for the reason why the dialog in many such games is so shallow and uninspiring. With many PC RPGs, it's more like reading a novel. Planescape Torment all of the way.
With HDTV and high density media ( so dialog can be wordy and very likely voiceovered), the depth of storylines ought to be able to pick up a notch.
Check my sig for my gamertag. If you're into anything other than plain ol' shooters, I definitely recommend both Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Chromehounds. Both are the only games I really enjoy playing on my 360.
