Plantronics is running a contest where you can win a trip to space or win a trip to attend space training. Link is in the top right corner of the main page.


Fact: In the United States, 4% of all children are born with a heart defect.
Fact: Only 1% of those has Ebstein's Anomaly.
Fact: My daughter is in that 1%.

    Considering it costs $20 million to put a tourist into space, that's a big prize. It seems nothing more than a chance to win astronaut training then a *chance* to become a space tourist.

    Well, in the the Terms & Conditions, it estimates the retail value of the Grand Prize at $150k. It's also basing this on the completion of the OSP (Orbital Space Plane) by 2008, which would have a significantly reduced cost associated with it than any other launch.

    However, I don't think the OSP will be done by then.
