Seems like more than a few Jews are in support of allowing same sex unions and gay Rabbi's.

My favorite part of the article is this...
"Conservative Judaism has always taught that we must
upgrade our biblical understanding with new scientific knowledge.

So, I guess that means there are some religious people who are able to understand what the Bible really is. It's a nice ancient book that needs to be updated where needed from time to time. There's nothing wrong with admitting that. And admitting it can free us all from ancient hatreds and stagnation of growth as well.

Yeah, not to sound mean, but if they are born that way, and we don't know for fact that they are, then it's really no different than being born retarded or something. Special rules need to be made for special people.

As a teacher, I can tell you with absolutely certainty that there are different rules for kids with ADD/ADHD. I spend about 50% of my time teaching modifying tests and curriculum for kids with various learning disabilities.

Maybe I read the article wrong, but I thought the person saying that was a quote, not the author's words. And I think it came from a Rabbi at that.

Maybe it would help if you imagined yourself trying to have sex with another male. Or better yet, why don't you imagine yourself being forced to try to fall in love with another man in order to kill some of the loneliness you feel. Then maybe you can understand what you're asking a gay man to do. It's not natural for them to fall in love with or be attracted to a female. You can call that unnatural if you like, but that means it's just unnatural to you. Not to them.
