Benchmark for WoW?

angerbeaverangerbeaver Member UncommonPosts: 1,269

Hey, I was wondering if there was a benchmark for WoW? Just wanted to see if my computer comes close to being able to play it....lol.

I googled and checked the WoW homepage but couldn't find anything on a benchmark for it image

Thanks,

There isn't a "benchmark", but there is "System Requirements" which is probably what you're looking for.

No, just because I have the requirements doesn't tell me how well my pc will run. Was hoping to see if it would be choppy or smooth etc etc.

    Ah well, thanks anyways

what?...lol...doesn't a benchmark actually show you how the game would run? Like how good it would look on ur pc or how well it would run? Whereas system requirements only tell yuo what you need to run the game(and not exactly how well)

lots of bench marks there... I found the site through a referal, and every time I go there it goes through the second link, I don't know if the first one works.

I'd suggest trying the 10 day trial, that way you can see if you can run it before you go buy it.

    Clicky for testy.

That link opens a site, select WoW from the dropdown menu, and hit the button! It'll analyze your computer and tell you.

The test is crap, I can run WoW max settings with no slow down.  It says I barely meet the requirements.

Bear in mind the graphics in wow are deliberetly designed to be easy to run so that everyone can run this game.

So you should be ok if not then you must be running a 486 computerimage
