1'st off, it's an old game waaayy past it's "good days" ('01)

And second, I challenge any one of you to make a character template for that game, who has not played it yet.

Go to the website, and figure out what character your going to make..what skills you will take (from 0.1%-100+%..and btw if you mess up 1, single point your characters are FODDER..you will be destroyed!!!!..just you try and see!!!).

3rd, it is the most racist game place i have seen yet!!!! I made a new character and asked for help in tell from another player, and he ask me if i am chinese!! I am not (though i say my english not very good) but he say I am farming gold and not needed there...so i cancel account right now.

I will not play a RACSIT GAME & Its too confusing!!!! I dont know what to do and i am even a beginnr.. plus it is a very oild game, so i will not wait my time and i will just play something new AND fun ^^

That's probably because your english is awful. I bet god killed a crapload of kittens when he read this post. Anyways, if you don't like it, whatever, but there's not many people that are racist on that game.

Er... it doesn't sound like the game is racist. There was just the one dum-dum who thought you were a Chinese gold farmer. If one person annoying you throws you off an MMO, you're going to have trouble finding one that suits you.

It is only racists because chinese literarly invaded the servers, spam the chat in chinese, group/guild only with chinese , never ever help or answer no question to non chinese player .... bassically acting like complete asses

First of all: Find a good basic warrior template. It's easy to build and there's plenty around. And your char will have a point.

Then the most important thing: Find a good bunch of people.

Not that I'm pro chinese or anything but a chinese player spamming chinese seems fairly logical. Even though it'd be great if they did, not everybody knows english. I mean give me a break, it's basically required that you speak both english and spanish to work in any type of public service department in southern florida, the southwest, and florida. Even "americans" dont speak english anymore.

To be fair no one really cares about the chinese or japs or koreans (all three play it) speaking in their own language. NA players got mad at them cause they all came to the US servers and formed ridiculously huge zergs and started stomping every little guild in sight. Which is why there's a big NA versus Asia war going on throughout all of SB regardless of server. The language thing is just an easy insult that requires little thought.

One thing that folks seem to have forgotten, since WoW came out, is that Shadowbane had the absolute worst community in MMORPG's in its' day. WoW, has blown that horrid community out of the water 100x over. Granted, the WoW community is growing up, the forums aren't nearly as much of a cesspool as they once were. The Shadowbane community is still pretty bad, not as bad around release though.

I'll agree that Shadowbane had some pretty bad players in it (Like Lords of Death on the Death server). There, were also alot of good, mature people though. Guilds like House Lok'ri etc. on Death were pretty nice. Lots of RP, and lots of maturity for the most part.

Funny thing is that he probably knows English and another language. Now how many languages can you speak agian tard?

To the OP all I can say is that you did yourself a huge favor, you had no place trying to play that horrible game anyways. There was a reason why that game flopped you know...

The problem with Shadowbane is that all the NA Euro guilds have known each other for along time and despise mostly all of them. So when new servers start up all the NA & Euro guilds destroy one another and eventually half or so leave. When that happeneds the asian guilds gang up on the remaining guilds and crush them with the only tatic that asians know best "superior numbers". This happeneds again and again like a bad record. If only the North American and Euro guilds could get along and not hack each other to pieces like a bunch savages and use some diplomacy The asians would never control any of the servers.

So much for hope in humanity. For those that never played you'll probably see the same in DF if it's ever released.

The "real" problem with Shadowbane is that in comparison with the all the other MMO's out there it just does not cut the mustard. There are so many other better games out there that I would rather play and I would have to consider any time wasted in Shadowbane just that...wasted time.

Actually, I played SB from Day 1 for about 3 months. Just about then a NA alliance formed that my guild wasn't part of and they completely destroyed every city on the server not part of their alliance. They would strike around 3 or 4 am EST and we didnt even get a chance to defend it.

After the last independent city fell I decided to quit the game for a lack of good places to train....

So asians didn't think this tactic up first.... but its still a bad game...

I gave up on shadowbane the second after the game crashed on me when i wanted to go out of town and kill stuff.

These kind of crashes make for a poor first impression.
