A faster way to text on my celfone?

Guys anyone heard about T9? Its much faster using it than the multi-tap function of my celfone. It automatically types my text messages using the 9 keys whereas when im on ABC mode i need to tap several times to finish a word. Im not a pro using t9 mode yet. I guess I need some more tips.

    The modern MMORPG is simply not worthy, of the acronym RPG. The straight grind and lack of atmosphere leave me with no choice.     Well, this may be old technology, but in the past... People used to actually call people (yeah crazy, I know) people with their "celfones". However ancient this technology may be, it allows you to communicate infinitely faster than text messaging, and has fewer negative side effects. Nonexistant studies have proven that over time text messaging leads to arthritis of the thumbs, eventually causing them to fall off.

    I use that all the time. That's the only thing my phone is good at, it even remembers odd words I've used in the past (like "thnks"). The only problem I have though is that I keep calling girls "ho"s because I typed in ho 1 freaking time and now it's stored and comes up as the default word when I type "im" or "in". ::::26::

    t9 word is leik a pr0gram n stuff that like autocompletes a word as u type it on ur celfone. it doesnt pikc up leik bad words n stuff rite, but like its still prtty good. its an option on ur fone, you dont have to dl it or nething.

    It should be under options when you're typing out a text message, but I don't think that's true for every phone. I just got an LG CU500 and I can't find it on there.

    number 1 tip: just look at your screen when typing. don't look at the keys you hit. I use it al the time.

    Studies have proved that texting people with common sense WILL in fact piss them off. I've seen people text back and forth for hours on end before. Neither of them were doing anything that would prevent them from talking, but apparently they can't stand the sound of each others voice or something.

    And yet, as we can see here. The main contributors/supporters to text messaging are having extreme difficult spelling out common words, or even making sense.

    I found the  tutorial for T9  that youre lookin for. Its no big deal. Its been here for ages and still you havent learned how to use predictive texting? You might as well just call up your friends for Petes sake!

    I never use T9, I tap, it takes faster if you're used to it, imo.

    And what kind of question is that about if people know what t9 is, it's been around for years on cellphones, here in Scandinavia atleast... Ericsson and Nokia!

    I don't use the T9, but I know it makes txting more easier.. I dont do txt cuz im not good at it so I call. image

    In addition to rediculously high cell phone bills as a result of your desire to send people messages instead of just talking to them like a normal person

     

    I admit, sometimes it's better to send a text, but 99% of the time, it's just a waste

    I beg to disagree.Texting is WAY cheaper than calling on my mobile phone. About using t9 i think its much better and faster than using the ABC mode.it even remembers odd words I've used in the past (like "thnks").

    Basically, instead of hitting 8-4-4-3-3 to type "the" (the 4 and 3 twice to select the second character on the button), the system is smart enough to know that 8-4-3 means "the".

    As for tips, I don't really have any other then to trust it completely. Only when you've finished typing out the whole word to even bother checking to see if it's got it right...and hope to hell it's in the dictionary :P

    t9.com has some kinda neat looking tools to help you get better, apparently...

    Welcome. Its been awhile since i last logged in and checked out the board.image Just an added tip: you can always add or save an unregistered word or a phrase so that it will automatically appear when you register the word again. The more you save words to your dictionary the faster your text messaging will be.

    I think text messages are pretty lame in most cases If it isn't important enough to call (or email) me I don't want to hear about it.

    Yeah its t9 for me cause i have all the words i have usually programmed in and i can do it in about 5 seconds.this can also help you get a much better view to t9 with this T9 Quick Tips here.

    yeah i saw this already. Once is enough ok? lol. Honestly think that t9 site is easy to understand so i think most folks will dig t9 once they learn how it works.
