Need a Suggestion

I need a suggestion for a mmorpg, I used to play WoW, for several months, but in the end it all got boring, including the pvp which was now dependant on battlegrounds. the instances also got boring as it seemed my guild would do the same thing each time and stuff.

Anyway to make it short, im looking for a mmo with alot of pvp, tons of it to be exact, It doesnt neccesarily have to be a fighting / magic game, im open to almost anything. The only other thing is that the pvp needs to be fairly exciting. I had city of villains but the combat was boring, and it was really horrible, sorta felt like I was playing a card game or so, it was all too slow. Guild wars also looked kind of like that, I do own factions, never bothered to play it though.

all recommendations are welcomed, thanks

You came from WoW, you don't know what "PVP" is. That thing they call "PVP" in WoW is a minigame.

I don't think you'll like EVE and I know someone will suggest it. EVE is far away from "Fast Paced", the only thing that's slightly "Fast Paced" in EVE is combat and sometimes that can take awhile.

Although, it does have a free trial and is a good game. Who knows, you may actually end up liking it.

DAoC has a free trial I think.

EQ2 is almost exactly like WoW from what I've heard. Haven't played it though.

DAOC was played by alot of my friends, but it is kind of old. And I would need a new video card to play EQ2. My 6600gt wasnt cutting it on the trial.

Why the hell not? Were you trying to run max specs or something? Just dumb down your graphics settings inside EQ2 and you should be fine.

    What are the game's requirements?
    -Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP
    -Processor: 1GHz or greater
    -RAM: 512 MB
-Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 64 MB of texture memory
-Sound Card: DirectSound compatible audio hardware

    I don't think a 6600GT is a 64mb card is it?

well let's see. It took me 3 months to discover the fact that Eq2 is essentially World of Warcraft with a different name and a crappy graphics engine. At least that's how it was by the time I started playing it. It used to be different.

Try DaoC for PVP honestly. It's not that "old"

Everquest 2 was released before World of Warcraft, so if anyone was copying anything it would be WoW.

As far as I know, EQII has also had like 3 updates that totally changed the way the game is played.
