Tito Ortiz vs Ken Shamrock (Again?)

Well I'm beginning to hate this one.. Ken can't accept that he is way too old for tito ortiz. I know that their last fight was controversial but geez get over with it. Here is the Fight Card for that event.. I just like some match in the the line up.

Im Amazed..... NOT!!!

Ken will probably lose, I hope he wins though.  He is getting old, he knows it.  Everybody wants to see them fight again, it wasn't Kens call.  Not that he wasn't happy about it...

I don't follow UFC but I thought shamrock retired when he lost the third championship fight to chuck lidel... (sp?)

im obligated to root for shamrock, i think he's one of the best of his generation of UFC fighters, got too old and cant accept that. Wait wait this sounds like a couple of John Wayne movies.......

he also i think is a phenominal talent scout, when i watched ultimate fighter when they were both coaches, i thought Ortiz was a lot better as a trainer, but as for picking the fighters with raw ability it had to go to shamrock.

Ortiz is cool and all but i like shamrock a lot more.....

    Again???

Ken just needs to let it go already and retire. Tito beat him plain and simple the last time they faught. When you see a guy getting pounded by an elbow to the face five times in a row without even trying to defend himself you call the fight. He lost, he just needs to deal with it and move on.

Ken has been my main "hero" of UFC since it started. I agree with you 100% man, the guy is a warrior, hes not gonna lie down, you have to put him down and keep him there. Age can be a negative factor, but so can wisdom, should be a good bout.

i think he should be put in some league position.

Ortiz is a great fighter and all, but there's something about sharmrock that says he will never actually leave the UFC.

maybe he could become one of the administrator's that oversees the fighters follow rules and all that crap.

lord knows he could still kick a lot of their asses.....

I would love to see Tito Ortiz get kicked in the ass, maybe even cry like he did after he lost to Chuck Liddell.... unfortunately, I think the outcome with ken Shamrock will be pretty similar to the last one.

I ordered UFC 61 mainly for that fight and it turned out to be a waste of $40. I'm glad that this time it will be free but I really don't see a difference in the outcome. I think it'll be a quick fight and Tito will come out on top.

Yup..... the first Shamrock fight I ever saw was in the early UFC days where he always ended up in the final bouts against Royce Gracie. I remember the intervies with Shamrock where he was saying he had just finished 3 years of pure Shootfighting in Japan. The guy has a tremendous amount to offer the sport.

I hope Tito Ortiz fights Chuck Lidelle right afterwards and Chuck beats his head in again.

they should take that fight off camera with no refs, and i guarantee only one of them would ever return to the UFC.......

the other will enjoy different flavors of vegetable paste for the rest of their life through a tube.

i bet i know who will be in what position if that happened.....

Chuck would beat the hell out of him....again.

Tito is all hype, he's a better than average fighter, but that's about it...he's not even in Chuck Lidelle's league

Ken is done, has been for a long time now. The guy used to be awesome. However it used to be a different time, and I really don't think the old awesome Ken could compete against the top guys these days.  Of course the old Ken wouldnt exist because he would probably adjust well incorporating the many disciplines himself. Kind of impossible to tell now that I think about it.

He got his ass kicked the last time they fought. He got stunned and couldnt even put his hands up to defend himself, the fight wasnt controversial at all. He just would like to think so.  Tito is better than Ken, but he is never going to be on top again.  I really think both of these guys are mentally not up to it.

It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.

Ken Shamrock is the world's biggest asshole. The reason this fight is going to be on free tv is because no on would pay to see Tito kick Ken's ass in the 1st round again.

Isn't it kind of a requirement to punch people's heads in for a living?

Who can get excited about this fight? Grandpa Shamrock is going to come out, trip over his walker, and get beaten down yet again. Then he'll moan and make lame excuses about why he lost.

Don't you think it's a bit unfair for Silva? or its unfair for some ufc fighters? Silva on his debut won against Leben, that was his first fight on UFC now he will have a title shot?

Tito is an ass hole...he talks way too much before and after every match.  I like gamesmanship and a little smack talk, but the guy takes it to a whole nother level when he starts acting like he is digging a grave after knocking someone out...He really isn't even that good of a fighter comparatively speaking, I rarely see him dominate anybody the way guys like Matt Hughes and Chuck Lidelle do.

Anybody else have any money on this game? I bet my dad $50 that Tito would win. Eeeeaaaasssssssyyyyyy money.

Cant wait for this guys. I think Tito will wipe out Ken once and for all.Twice is not enough. anyone voting for Ken Shamrock ? Sure he has the spirit to fight but the age factor is to his disadvantage.
