Perma Banned for not being subscribed to SWG?

You have been banned for the following reason:

spamming the forums

Wanna know something funny? When I left months ago I wasn't banned at all, log in to the forums and I'm banned. I have not played for months and left silently so how can I be banned?  I think someone over there has it in for meh. /tinfoil hat on. It's been 6 months, no way have I spammed forums if I'm not subbed.

I got banned in december 2005 for sumthing i said back in junse 2004 :P

TH told me as it was a long time ago he'd lift the ban. I think they got new devs in or sumthing

I actually think my 3 (forum) account permaban had more to do with what I said here than over there, I was extremely mild compared to the stuff I say about the Senate over here.

Who cares, it's not as if I WANT to talk on a forum moderated by chimps GarVa and Virrago.

Yeah I think it had more to do with what i said over here. I didn't leave there in a rant. It wouldn't be hard for them to find out what my account name is since it's posted in my bio. If I ever felt like I wanted to pay for that game again I would say watch what you say about SOE where ever you go. I think that it may be one of the reasons why everyone in my guild who signed up for SoH guild beta invites got in except me. I guess this is something to note. If people in the game industry don't like you they can prevent you from playing their games. If they knew me personaly I would say it was because I was a Brotha.

Write Smed a letter asking if it's policy to punish people for doing nothing wrong on their site. Also, technically you can file a complaint witht he BBB, and if they did ban you for something you said on another site, they will be fined. I have proof of that BTW, for the doubters. A friend was banned for posting TRE files on a 3rd party site, contested it with the BBB (as well as a few other things he was pissed about), and won since it wasn't on their site and they couldn't even prove it was him. He also got an apology, lol. He was the first person in our Guild to file a BB complaint, and after that we almost all did it... billing irregularities, CSR mistreatment, prepaid accounts, the NGE fiasco... we won quite a few, SOE has a HORRIBLE BBB rating, even though they're a sub-charter member, lol...

I got a perma ban once for being especially naughty and I wrote Virago after a few months and apologized (for subverting swear filter and posting porn...porn was part of a joke about shims and it was a cartoon, swearing was Carlin's 7 dirty words). I said "I'm giving you guys another chance by resubbing, so you should give me another chance on the forums")
He lifted the ban and just said to be cool.

They aren't all bad, but some of the mods are kinda Nazi-esque at times. Especially when it comes to legit complaints and gameplay issues.

If you email him, he'll probably help you out.

I remember one time I said that I'd never been banned on the Bria forums, and wham...3 Day ban for some piddly crap like posting in a necro or something lol.

Does that mean that rebels can't contact BBB? Can you change faction to contact them?

If not, where do they go? Or do they need to do their rebel things. Like blowing up death stars and such.

     That  is what should have been done to my accounts , at least you have an option to play ... and still complain about SOE here.
