So.... I keep getting these e-mails from Farlan.

They want me to come back and "try" their new engine (offline) and the e-mails try to convey a sense of quality with in this new package.

The problem is.....   I've seen Vangaurd beta and for a few hours was given the oppertunity to create a character and explore.  There is no game out there that will be able to compete with it's sheer SIZE and quality of detail of Vanguard.  Sigil was underscoring how huge the game world was.

Vuaar, you fraked Dark & Light up, your tries to "slip one by" the MMORPG community and none of us will forgive you for that.  Dark & Light is DEAD.

I said so back in February & as a veteran of this community you should've listen. You should've listen to all your Fan/Customers... it tooooooo late.  So rot up on the pedistal you placed yourself.

I opened my email today and lo and behold here sits an email from Farlan Entertainment telling me about the free offer to test thier game engine. Now perhaps this wouldnt seem so strange if I had ever played the game or even visited thier site...However, I have never played this game, nor have I had any interaction with its developers...The only info I know about this game is what I have read on this forum in the past...So my question is, how the hell did they get my email address for which to send me thier spam???

Well at least the offline demo is realistic.  It's just as empty and devoid of players as the real thing.

Is that what it was! I didn't even read it. I simply pushed the delete button. That would be the coolest thing in the world if they couldn't find anyone to try their new piece of sh*t.

Played Wow, D and L, AOC, GW, Eve, Rift and many more insignificant games.

My thoughts exacly, it could be the online version & noone would notice it anyway ::::02::

Fun fact: Necron had once a offline demo showing off some weapons and basic crafting.
