    Holy cow! Time for a OGE overhall release just in time to take advantage of Christmas! hehe $OE can't deny the numbers.

    Well, we already know that we the disgruntled ex-SWG players outnumber those who love the NGE by at least 3-1.  SWG's subs in `04 were around 300K, and held about there up to the CU.  At the NGE, SWG was reported at about 200K subs.  The AGC article stated that SWG had lost HALF it's players due to NGE, so cut that to 100K or less.  Not only that, most of the people they have left don't LIKE the NGE, they just haven't given up yet.

    I'd say that we outnumber the true NGE lovers (ie: those as passionate about the NGE as we are about pre-CU or pre-NGE) by a much larger number, at least 10-1.

    The current forum will soon die, they aren't a large enough community to maintain itself.  Hmm, sort of like SWG after the last of the pre-NGE vets give up...

    Its a conspiracy.  The main page shows 42 topics and 555 posts for us, then shows 16 topics and 147 posts for them.  Now go into the Current forum and actually count the topics inside.  There is only 13.  Whats up with that?

    Now after recounting ours, shows 42, actual 39.  It was correct as of late last night.  Must be from deleted topics.  But what the hell well call it a conspiracy.  and blame it on this board for being influenced by SOE

    Personally I think this whole "Us vs Them" mentality is silly though...

    Or "we are losing fewer players now than we did pre-CU".  Sure they are, because if you lose 5% of your playerbase of 300,000 that is a lot more players lost than 5% of 50,000. :)

    Another famous spin line:  "Over 80% of our players are pre-NGE", which they meant to make you think that NGE only lost 20% of the vets (and made up for it with new players), when what it actually meant that of the shrunken player base, 80% of them were pre-NGe vets.

    Smed once even claimed that after the CU hit, SWG was their fastest growing MMO, then said that they had to make the NGE changes to keep SWG viable in the long run.  Uhh, both statements could not be true.  To speak for SOE requires a forked tongue.

    And a combat queue, and 32 professions instead of 9, and Jedi who have to work for it to be Jedi (and face risks), and crafters who can make  better stuff than ANY loot ever, and...

    Oh yeah, we have MIND...  NGE doesn't have that.

    And furthermore, over here we have no-one to hold our hand and walk us in a linear fashion in the direction that they feel we should be going!

    And we are all individuals, not merely identically skilled and wearing exactly the same kit....in a sort of clone army kind of way.

    Personally splitting us up was silly too but since we are we might as well go with our strenghts and in this case, its in numbers and as SOE knows its all about the numbers. ( Obriak ,thanks for the trolling chum , your services are needed on SWG Current)

    Depends what you post there and your posts aren't immune from being considered trolling because they're in this forum ;)  If by "us" you mean people that don't like the NGE, then you would be wrong.  I meant it for anyone who's thinking like that, whether they're for or against the NGE/SOE/SWG/etc
