Okay I just bought SWG the other day so exscuse my Noobiness. I'm having a difficult time completing an Imperial Pilot quest called "Lok System: Inspect Nym Lieutenant".
The quest involves the following:
1. Wait outside the Lok system space station until you see the "Nym Lieutenant's" ship arrive.
2. Disable the ship.
3. Inspect the ship.
4. Then press the "U" key to board the ship.
Well I follow the instructions to the tee but it wont let me board the ship. I blast the ship until it's disabled and it's sitting motionless in space. I then press the "U" key like the instructions say. But I keep getting a message saying that the ship refuses to let me board. I've been trying to get passed this mission for 2 nights and no luck. Anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

And I don't want to hear anything about "I don't believe in vampires" because *I* don't believe in vampires, but I believe in my own two eyes, and what *I* saw is ******* vampires! "
Do you have a non english keyboard ? On my german keyboard docking is another key than the default one given by SWG.
I had similar problems with communicating with NPC ships in space ... trying various keys finally gave me the desired result. Or you can remap the command to any key you like (Options --> Keymap)
You should also be able to type /dock once you have the target ship in sight.
Hostiles nearby should not stop you from docking. I docked during various missions under full fire of NPCs because I knew I had superior shields that can take the beating.
Have fun

I remember this mission. It's not bugged, well kinda.
After you disable and inspect it the NPC pilot will continue to talk trash, saying how you won't capture him, blah, blah, blah.
All you have to do is hit the ship again, but not destroy it, target some subcomponent, and it will "surrender".
You then get a message saying that imperial troopers or something have captured it. You won't actually need to dock with it, even though it says that you must capture it.
Hope this helps.
