Where you pull that BS outta ? I dont believe in god and I know for a fact that THERE IS LIFE SOMEHWERE OUT THERE! I would bet my life on it! I have to base your reply on pure ignorance sorry man but u make no sense nor have any facts to back that statement up at all.
Facts needs proof, got any? no? then stay down boy.

OneMuslim, where is your proof? The Koran is just a book. It may be proof to you, but not to the majority of the planet.
I shoot for the curve... anything above that is gravy.

No proof but I will go with mathimatics any day so try to compute this please, there are as many stars in our galaxy then there as grains of sand on the planet and there are as many galaxies as there are stars on average and that number has been aproximated to 29 000 000 000 000 000.
Earth is dated at 4.6 billion years old, life was dated as early as 3.2 billion years = life is a chemical reaction that occurs when the circumstances and quantum mechanics make them so, nothing more nothing less.
Its mathematicly impossible for our planet to be the only one to suport life and the simple fact we havnt even seen .001% of our own galaxy means there HAS to be something else somewhere. I wouldnt besuprised if the universe was very much populated by a variety of lifeforms some advanced and others primitive but teaming with life. Humans are not as important as you think Onemuslim we are just a lucky bunch with a nice planet that we are destroying and I dont think any god exists nor gives a damn.
The last few pics are truely amazing, thank you Vertex. I'm sticking them into my sketch pad for school to let me contemplate while bored in lessons :P

Ignorance pisses me off. Firstly, why is it you 'know' that Mohammed was the prophet etc etc etc etc etc etc (etc's used to represent all of the other claims you make based on your religion) despite having absolutely no proof whatsoever? Secondly, there is proof. You'd have to be an idiot not to be able to understand this. I'll use the Hitchhikers Guide argument actually, as it's just as valid as any other really. The universe is infinitely big. There are an infinite amount of star systems/galaxies/suns/planets. The probability of life coming into existance here was 1 in *insert disgustingly huge number here*. But there's an infinite number of planets... Thus, there is absolute certainty that there are a whole lot of planets out there that support life (intelligent or otherwise). Bring me a scientific argument as to why I'm wrong - nothing faith-based please.
Oh, and out of interest, what does the Qu'ran have to say about extra-terrestrials?
In actuality based on quantum pyhsics its infinitely possible this universe has any number of infinite patterns. This could be the 1 universe in a infinite number of universes which support just 1 inteligent lifeform. Albeit I find that highly unlikely. Given my faith it doesnt persay change anything. Dealing with Zero time space's infinities opens some rather intresting paradoxes. Any inteligent lifeform which developed there would be able to develop almost every evolutionary option in no time or rather all time. The end result is it would probably absorb or coalese with any inteligence which entered into its space. Which mite explain why it said god assigned a space for heaven. You couldnt very well have angels dwell with you since youd just absorb them. It wouldnt be like youd have any limit of space to designate to your need. Youd have a infinite number of universes in various stages of development around you. Well anycase if your a christian god made angels and god made or at the least molded this universe. Thats a lot of creating to say he wouldnt make other inteligences. Makes you curious though. If mathmatically this entity in question was infinite in nature and able to mold a universe what is its motive? Whats the motive of any entity in a confined space, albeit hes confined to infinity hes still outside our enviroment. Normally a entity seeks to effect its surrounding. *Shrugs*

There would be more resources and possibly more oil. There would be a hellava lot more than 24 hours (correct me if I'm wrong). It would be some experience. That would be sooooo friggen cool. It would depend on how fast the planet spun around to have 24 hour days. It would have to spin hella fast at that size. If that large planet spins the same speed as Earth then days would last probably a million times longer lol.
If planet earth was that big (im guesssing a a few trillion x 10 the power of 100...), i really wonder how big the sun would be...
Take it! Theres nothing keeping anyone from seeking higher education except there own personal motivations or lack thereof. If your religous see it as a oppurtunity to ellaborate on how your god works. If your not then its still your method of understanding your surroundings. Faith is a great thing. Its the source of our greatest weaknesses and our greatest strengths. Lol sorta reminds me of the line in The Matrix when he meets the maker.
In my case when I started to take physics I started to grasp that the rules were like DNA. A series of unraveling patterns which over time influenced there surrounding universe. Eventually though you need to ask yourself if you believe in external mechanisms. I personally see a few mathmatical elements necessarily manipulated to lead to this form of universe. Hey who am I to speak though. You gota make your own minds. Dont be afraid to share your thoughts though. Well unless itll get you killed.
Oh and if a planet was hollow to a certain thickness and spun correctly it could generate liveable gravties. Take the Dysons sphere as a example. As for day and night. That would have to be artifically generated since the sun would be exposed to the entire surface at all times. I had the math on the amound of planets that would equal in habitable surface at one point. It came to such a huge number though that even races with a reproduction 4 times faster then humans would take hundreds of millions of years to inhabit a quarter of the surface. Imagine being able to get in a car driving 1000 miles a hour, and not stop your whole life and not even scrath the surface distance.
I had a idea for a science fiction book about 8 years ago based of these degree's of infinity. Never did finish it. Imagine if you will a subspace conduit to another smaller universe, they send out ships to explore the multiverse picking up inteligent races like zoo animals. Bringing them back to there core universe. There they had a massive infinite plane. THe surface is made up of spheres. Billons of random planets. Above it another plane made up of a sunlike fusion field. Call it the eternal planet. Lol was a good story but at the end I got sick. Never finished.

I tend to agree, and I know I have the capacity to take it (not to sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet...). It's actually the academic system that withholds me. The only way I have to take Physics (which I would need to take Quantum Physics in Uni) would be to drop Psychology... Which is my all-time favourite subject, and utter obsession... So I'm not prepared to do it. I'd prefer to do Psychology than Physics if I could only do one subject... What irritates me is that I'm also taking IT (which I care not for) and Business (which I care not for) which I'd like to replace with Physics - I'm then taking Maths and Philosophy too... But those I'm already mid-course on, but I couldn't take physics in their place anyway Sucks!!!!!

Antares is a star, as is everything in the last two pictures (bar the single lone pixel of jupiter)
Theres a point when a star can no longer expand due to lack of fuel and it consumes itself. Also theres a upward limitation to how much burden our space time bubble can support before it collapses. Thats when it gets intresting. If a space time bubble leaks into Infinite time I cant realy mix to easily back into zerotime. It either evaporates back into zero time or rejoins our space time bubble like water droplets do in space. Mind you where it rejoins mite exhibit some weird traits.

I'm trying to figure out if you are being sarcastic or not. ... I'm guessing sarcastic.
I mean look at the simple beauty of the reasoning.
We only know one solar system in any detail and that system has one planet rich with life and 2 others that may have once contained it. Given that the universe has countless solar systems the chances of us being alone are so infitessimally small as to not even warrant calculation. In fact the maths tell us life is ABUNDANT!!
The ramifications for us as a species of this reasoning are MONUMENTAL, and yet we busy ourselves with self destruction over fairy stories.

Any race which gets to a Stage 2 Civilization pretty much has to adopt a cingular idea of self identity. That is the hardest thing to acheive. The mathematics answer whats going on. The science gives us the tools. The mind, thats the tricky part. We could be so many things. Religio-Scientists, Nihilist Socialists, Hive Oriented Comunists and so many other patterns exist. A good game to look at to see this is Alpha Centari. Peacekeeprs, Religous Fanatatics, Ecologists, Scientists, Capilists, Cyborgs and so many other themes exist. What can be sure is even if you believe that gods will will be done and the worlds reorganized, the species will evolve under diffrent schemes.
Even under a Theocracy eventually we would develop sciences. Perhaps with less Nihilistic intentions of course. I highly doubt any god wants to limit our capacities. At most he just wants to keep us from self destructing to prematurely. Besides I imagine speaking to ants like us must be painful. Hehe I imagine for god talking to a stage 4 sentient would be alot more gratifying then to a stage 0 stone age human. At least at stage four youd grasp abit more and be able to make some inteligent comments

Anyone ever see the nasa space tether expirament? Well incase you havent HERE IT IS.
This is actual space footage from nasa. The tether is the long white strip that broke away from the shuttle during the expirament. During this footage it had already floated around 70 miles away from the shuttle.
The dozens of object flying around the tether ARE NOT DEBREE. When the camera zooms in you can clearly see some of them pass behind the tether which is miles away from the camera itself which means that these objects are either massive in size or giving off a hell of alot of light.
This opened my eyes to the possibility of an increadible amount of life out there that we have no clue about.
