I have no idea how to make avatars how do u?

ok i want to get an avatar i do not now how to upload one to use on forums i have one selecetd but its says like not a gif thing how do i upload????

    ok this is what it says ERROR WITH UPLOAD - File not a JPG or GIF image

    From this is post what I see is that your image isn't JPG or GIF. Try to convert it...

    If you don't know how to follow these instructions:
    1. Right click your image and choose Edit.
    2. Now you should be in paint... Now click on File -> Save as...
    3. And from Drop down list Save as type: choose JPEG or GIF.
    4. Try to upload your image again...


    If you still have problems check the size of image...

    I hope I helped a bit...

    ok still having trouble getting the following error.  image cr exception (load failed 140430.   lol my photo is black and white don't know want i'm doing wrong.
