Feedback wins Who Want's to be a Superhero.

Not sure if any of you guys watched the show but it was a pretty fun summer program for me to watch.

It was on the SciFi channel and hosted by Stan Lee the creator of the first comicbook character I ever read, Sipderman in a Ceral Box promoting non drug use way back in the early 80's.  Kind of wierd how I was introduced to comics lol.

Watcing the show from the begining I wanted Major Victory to win because he was so heroish and camp at the same time, but unfortunately he got the boot.  I was totally undecided on who the winner would be in the final episode because they both had great things going for each character.

As the winner Feedback will get his own Darkhorse comicbook and star in a Saturday Night SciFi movie.  Now if that is not cool I don't know what is lol, but we have seen some pretty bad stuff from SciFi as pertains to movies muahahahaha.

The show actually got me back into City of Heroes/Villians for a month so I could try and recreate the powers of the people on the show, yeah I'm a geek.  I can't wait for the DvD to see all of the extras

I hope I did not bore you peeps with this and I apoligize if I did.

Excelisior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, yeah... I watched that show. I missed a few episodes, including the last one, but... If "Fat Momma" had won, I would've went and bought the comic, then lit it on fire in the parking lot, and pissed the flames out. Ok, well, not really, but obesity's not a super power, and I don't like the whole "self-confidence" thing she promoted. You should only be confident in yourself if you have a reason to be! Bah...

Well, aside from the rant... Yeah, I was surprised when Major Victory got the boot, but I guess I'm glad FeedBack won. The show didn't have all that great of competitors, though, in my opinion, compared to what I thought would come out of the woodwork. Ah well... Hope they'll make a second season-type thing, though I know that's a longshot, to say the least.

He won? Dangit  I really liked Major Victory... but then again, I didn't keep up with the series as much as I would have liked to.

  • If I had to put money on it I would have said Feedback. I'm pretty happy with him wining, I think he really deserved to more than any other person there. He was really the only comic book geek of the group. I had hoped it would be down to Feedback and Major Victory. I'm okay with Major Victory getting axed second to last, he had a good send-off (he should have done a strip tease taking his costume off, it would have been dramatically appropriate).

I actually missed the final episode, but I have it taped and Feedback wining is no surprise to me. What really surprised me is that Cell Phone Girl lasted as long as she did.

I thought Nitro G was a comic book geek as well? Didn't he, like, work at a comic store, or something? Well, anyway, yeah. I'm amazed Fat Momma and Cell Phone Girl even made it on the show.

Of the whole thing I caught half of the last two episodes. How the hell did Major Victory not win? They guy made me forget I was watching a piece of crap genre Reality Show. That guy was actually fun to watch. He didn't just bring a costume but also a cocky, and like someone said, campy personality. The Feedback guy seemed more than a little immature to me. I could seriously see him taking his own life in his mother's basement when his wife divorces him in the next few years. Major Victory reminded me a lot of The Tick from the quickly cancelled Fox Live-Action show.

Fat Momma only held on because, like American Idol, they were afraid to drop the overweight people until the end. RS doesn't count because he is a black male. Any other combination would be deemed unacceptable. When it comes to singing it doesn't matter but with this thing it was just stupid to keep her on until the end.
