Last time I played Guild Wars was when it first was released. The game was pretty fun overall, however it seemed limited in what I can do and where I can go (ie. my character couldn't swim, and there were several invisible 'zone walls' restricting where I could walk). Also, there weren't any open zones where I can meet other players (it was mostly instanced), the exception being the town that my character started in. Now that the game has been out with expansions and all, has any of this changed? I remember the game was a lot of fun to play, I just didn't like the limitations on the game, and was wondering of any of this had changed. Was wondering if the game was worth a second look (I didn't buy it, used a free download trial they were running upon the games release).
Thanx for your info.

Well, in Proheties, you can't swim neither jump... About Factions (and the next adventure Nightfall), I don't know...
Hurray GW !!!
GW- Warrior lvl18 - Monk lvl4
But, on the other hand, that's not the point of the game. This game concentrates more on build development and competition rather than being a "life simulator".
