A friend is giving me a free copy of FFXI for 360

How are the controls?  I loved the concept and the game itself on PC, but the controls just annoyed the living hell out of me.  What should I expect on the 360?  Oh, and also, what starting class is needed the most right now (besides White Mage)?  I kind of want to be a taru but I don't have to be.

    I dont know how the 360 controls will be but im guessing they will be alot easier to get the hang of than the pc ones, although the pc controls arnt that much trouble. Give it a shot and find out and tell us all what you think :).

    As for classes, warriors are always a good and needed class, but if you want to be taru then i would recommend Black Mage or Red Mage, these are also looked for alot in groups at the moment.

    Well I received the copy today, still in the shrink wrap.  I'll update and try it out...might as well, its free.
