The game is what the player makes it. This isnt' some do step 1 to 10 and repeat style of game like WoW. It's a virtual universe where you really need to make the effort to integrate. I can see how someone sitting on the sidelines might find it boring after a while. Being a sandbox style of game you need to get involved and be creative.
The game is in first place because it is the most advanced MMORPG on the market. Some people who played other more limited games and expect the same just don't get it.
it's a unique game that you become apart of - if you don't like it, it's more than likely because you lack the intellect *wink*
But no really, it is a slow game. Slow doesn't mean boring, but it is slow. I would be playing this game a lott if it was free. Usually I'll play on EVE while playing a console RPG at the same time during the EVE downtime.
I liked EVE, but I don't like it's content for the price per month.

Why did you even post? Go away troll. Someone get this person a Litebright to occupy their time.
Recently EVE had the first case of publicly recognized corrupt GM. Or so does CCP say, because he was caught red handed by players, otherwise it wouldn't be public. CCP deleted all the related forum posts. The case was about a GM spawning very veery expensive equipment for his own personal leisure or to give to "friends". Who knows.
The thing is, when real money transfer is present into mmorpgs in the sense of buy/sell of ingame objects and characters, a new world of possibilities is open. Well, basicly then can make money out of it This is specially touching for in-staff corruption. As you see, players can detect these cases before the company itself does, which doesn't say anything good about their control methods of the GM doings in general.
What I would do is to mail them written knowledge about your case, so that they not only take responsability but also develop further control. It seems the GM in case didn't take it seriously, maybe because it affected negatively to the GMs themselves since they shouldn't have let it happen in the first place. So you should try someone in the upper ladder gets noticed. good Luck.
