K guys the other day I was on guild wars and someone called a person on our team a Nooblet.  I nearly fell off my chair laughing so hard.  What are other names used to call someone a noob.  They can be ones you used, you heard, or ppl said to you.  Im in for a good laugh

People who make threads asking how other people call others noobs are generally, my first chioce of "your a noob".

But then Im not moronic enough to resort to generalization over a players understanding of a game, so I dont use the word.

I like it in BF2 when people ask me why I chose that handle.

I reply "well, if you dont get it, your just november oscar oscar bravo"

LOL. Newbie is a socially acceptable non-derogitory term that abbreviates to n00b, it is similar to rookie which is more frequently used IRL. Just because youre trying to make a list of people that youre intellectually superior too, doesnt mean you can add everyone who uses the word 'n00b' to boost the list.

And to be frank, implying someone is a moron is pretty out of order and violates the rules of this forum afaik

for the OT - My personal favourites:

"Well thats just n00balicious, good luck with that"

"You have a fatal illness and urgently need a n00bectamy"

I've never thought of "noob" as offensive, though some people use it as though it were. I've always just used it to mean, like "New to the game," or "Don't know much about the game."

Sorry, not really the response you wanted, just thought some of the other posts were mildly annoying, because they refer to noob as though it were an insult.

Its sad really when ppl get offended by the word noob.  Alot of players get upset just by that stupid word.  I take it as compliment.

    I personally like "Nubcakes"

I agree, the word isn't an insult most of the time, because its either 1. Your friends messing around with you or 2. Some idiot trying to verbally abuse you by calling you a noob, which doesn't work, at least on me.

The funniest one i've ever heard is somebody said to me way back in the day on Runescape that i was a "noobish noob that noobs all other noobs....NOOB!" that cant possibly mean anything at all i just asked him if he wanted a adamant longsword.. (i was done playing and giving it away)
