Brothels and Naked Women

I hope there will be strip clubs, brothels, or prostitutes in this game.  For example, if you can afford to have sex with a really hot one, you increase in strength or something.  Pimping or running a brothel could be one of the crafts, it would be cool.  The REAL Conan would fight and loot gold all day, then drink and bang girls at night.

Having Brothels in game I think would suit the theme but I don't think it needs to be taken to far. I mean its a game if you want just watch some porn or go to a real strip club or brothel why do it online???

Exactly, in real life Im a skinny, 25 year old java programmer, with no girlfriend, that lives in a studio apartment.  I want to do things in video games that Im too scared to do in real life, haha

That's true.  But the dilemma is that in the world of FFXI, Im a leader and respected by basically everyone and I have the ultimate equipment, but in real life nobody knows who I am.  In FFXI people bow in front of me, but in real life basically everyone, including 711 cashiers, treats me like crap.

The funny thing is if there a cashier there like bottome of the food chain when it comes to life just look at them and be like well do you have a real job and when there like uh no you win stupid dumbass cashiers.

 It definitely would be cool if  there were brothels in the game. The devs wouldn't even have to include any nudity in the game. Like Gothic 2, just make a video play when a character's being serviced, and make it extremely dark so you can't see any of the details.

Prostitutes you could have hanging around in the pubs, since that seems like the only other logical place for them to be in other than in the brothels.

Strip clubs...never heard of strip clubs in the medieval era.

Grow the fuck up. later in life you will realize getting laid isnt overly complicated. You're showing your pre-pubrsant age or lack of anything mature in these posts. AoC isnt a chat room with an inn that has women of the night.

It's a much deeper game and for the communities sake I hope all the posters advocating this dont have credit cards.

On a sidenote, Conan is a world full of blood, violence, and sexuality,
but it doesn't mean that it should necessarily be in the game.  Rated M
might give it a larger margin of error for what to put in the game, but
having brothels or prostitutes might be a bit much.


If anything, I bet they might be in the game, but as scenery.  Like a brothel being an
un-enterable building in a town, or maybe prostitutes being insinuated a saying an NPC might spit
out.

Considering it's a MMORPG, there will be people cybering here too as well as all the other online games. It's inevitable. :P You'll get your hookers and tarts, don't you worry. You might want to consider the following abbreviation a bit though hehe: MMORPG = Many Men Online Role Playing Girls

But, I'd also like to add something to the people who think life is crap when you play games. In all honesty this is a subject I could rant on forever. Take a look out the window, read the newspaper and tell me what it sais. Murders, rapings, war... The cruelty that we have in our real world surpass anything you find in most MMORPG. If I could chose to live in a virtual world where I can do anything, or in this real world, with its collapsing economy and environmental problems. I'd sooner play a game any day.

On a note to this though, I am not spending all my days playing games, but I damn well wouldn't mind doing just that.

Focus on the positive! You are  not fat, you do not live with mom, and you have a job. 

You have to stop using MMORPG's to feel good about yourself.

On to the topic: I think brothels et. al. would be fine, so long as I could avoid them and, in doing so, I do not miss any other content.  Therefore, I agree to have them, but do not agree that they should buff you up.

That would mean that the prostitutes don't do anything, which in turn would mean they aren't prostitutes at all... Which would make the "brothel" in question both a brothel and not a brothel at the same time and place!

There should be a brothel quest where the goal is to find out how you can have a brothel that is by definition not a brothel. Right when you're about to find out, everything goes dark. Then you wake up in a room in the brothel... By yourself.

There is adult content, and then there is too much adult content. With the recent scandals for games like Oblivion (which was stupid in my opinion) and Hot Coffee, you can bet that even M rated games are going to watch what they do lest they slip in to AO status.

And doesnt AO( Adults only ) mean 18+?? I mean you are considered an adult when your 18. You can smoke/ buy porn, And join the army.
OK, so my point is, whats the biggest difference between M and AO. its 1 year difference.(not so big)
