    Been there, done that.

    It's ok, I like the Buster I created from Mega Man Legends (I also did the circuitry). It has 4 settings:

    - Rocket Launcher

    - Rail Gun

    - Launcher (tennis balls and cans)

    - Fireballs

    - Grapple.

    Don't mess with me when it comes to making stuff. I also made a functioning Glovatrix (Swat Cats). Both models. Not easy to get all the gagets working...

    Pretty retarded if you ask me.
    Making a flamethrower out of household materials is pretty retarded.
    Even the ones made by weapon specialists are still unsafe, this thing is just way more dangerous.

    Ive seen on the net somewhere, a guy made a wrist mounted flame-thrower, mimicing Jango/Boba's from StarWars. Worked perfectly, shot about 8 feet.

    I liked the fact that he at least knew somewhat what he was doing to make it (not just tossing gasoline into a pvc, using a brass nozzle and ball valve, etc).  However I think his design is lacking in safety mechanisms for the flamethrower use, so I said cool but irresponsible.  If any of you reading this decide to make something similar, make sure you at least put a check valve between your nozzle and "trigger."  Oh, and don't test it in my neighborhood, I'll send the cops after you.. :P
