Run Speed?

Probably been discussed before, but I've been away from the game for a several months and just tried it out again.

What is up with the new run speed?

Everybody looks like friggin idiots zooming all over the place. Totally blows out immersion, which seems important even for non-RP folks. The character movement just never felt natural to me.

    At the request of many people complaining, and problably to just throw us a bone, th erun speeds have been increased.  Additionally, folks have completed the DoF carpet quest, or are rich enough to buy a good horse.

    Not satisfied, SOE built more griffon towers in Thundering Steppes and Nektolus Forest.  Makes for easy transport, but that the problem...it's easy.

    I agree..I turn off my speed buff because its ridiculous...if they had to increase it they shouldnt of done it THAT dramaticaly.
