Allright, here´s something for all those of you who can´t quite decide or who need something to convince a friend to play SoR:

Ryzom Movies (bilingual english/german)

Is it possible to get the movies in .ZIP format? Most of the time I am at work and the computers cannot have rar installed because of liscening and stuff, so all they have is the zip format from SP2. If that is not possible it is okay i can always dl from home and burn to disc .

Your site is great Ac   Oh by the way, have you ever thought of adding a ratings system for movies etc?

I am planning to start my Ryzom trailer soon, probably after the new newbie island gets launched.  Then of course I have to write my Lord Moo the mektoub mount murder mysteries somewhen after my exams

I 2nded the rating idea. There're some REALLY REALLY good vids (e.g Zee's Tryker's Invasion) and they deserve to be showcased more than the others (not that the others aren't good too )

May I also recommend you upload a few selected one up to youtube.com so that it's accessible to more people?

A rating System would realy be a good Idea too. I´ll see what I can do with Mambo/Joomla.

Edit II : Uploading them in ZIP would be possible, but would destroy my bandwidth for sure.
Just load yourself a trail version of Winrar and be happy. And if I´m not mistaken the newest ZIP Version should be able to handle rar files.

I had been checking out this game for a few weeks and stumbled upon your site.  I checked several vids out, there was one vid that I liked,  I believe it was from The Atys Ghosts and it was called 'The Hunt' there were some Tryker characters in the vid.  I thought they were so cool looking.  That vid hit me just right and helped me decide to give Ryzom a try. 

Needless to say I'm now happily playing on Atys as a wee Tryker, totally addicted and having lots of fun.

Sadly, the Publishers / Developers signed this game's death warrant when they released it as an incomplete, buggy, under-designed mess.

I am afraid it is to late for this game to really succeed now and it must be relegated to the 'might-have-beens' bin along with the likes of Anarchy Online and Horizons.

Too bad, I tried it and found it a pile of junk.  Why should I waste my time with it now. There are so many better, more polished MMORPGs out there now.

Let it go, this one is finished.

So, why do you waste your precious time, you could have spent playing something that suits you better, with dissing a Game we definetly like?
You are entitled to your opinion and yes there still are some things that should be better and some things that sadly aren´t what they were promised to be, but I for myself am sure that Nevrax will come up with some fantastic things in the future that will keep ME with the game and I like it there.
If you don´t, have fun wherever you go and be quiet allready .
Haven´t put up my site for no reason, y´know.

You know, I haven't played this game for a while (too much RL stuff) but I still keep tabs on it to see how it's doing. I hope this game does well and continue to grow in the future. When R2 released I'll probably wanders back (as long as it's not majorly buggy and a major dissapointment). I like Nevrax and I wish them and Ryzom the best.

You can't really say a game is FINISHED unless it's actually finished, nor not really knowing how many players are still playing the game. My guess is that it's enough to keep the game going for a while.

I don't find this game all that buggy compared to the one I used to play.  I have heard horror stories about when Ryzom first came out and all, of course. 

Compared to SWG this game is about as polished as you can get in live.  If you haven't done so already, go play some SWG and then compare the bugs in that to Ryzom.  You may find that Ryzom isn't all that buggy and bad in comparison.  I got so used to all the large and small bugs I didn't realise what a polished mmo was till I started playing Ryzom.  Bugs in SWG have become a way of life, sadly.  Many many bugs are in there from launch, then to top off the 2 main game changes in the last year.  To put it simply SWG is a mess.

I kind of see it as unfair to say a game that has the low amount of bugs as Ryzom is 'finished'  Your opinion of course.  In my opinion, I don't see that.

hmm if you think the game is buggy i can only assume you havent played for a very long time.. the first few months after release there were lots of problems, as with most mmorpgs i think you'll find. was a tough time to play with nasty lag, incomplete texts and translations. but the game now is i would probably say bug free. no lag, no issues at all. the only thing i can think of getting stuck on an overhanging cliff in mincho, but the CSR respond within minutes and port you back to where you should be
