Shadowbane shutting down

Tip to Mythic:
Now would be a very good time to pull the same trick EVE did when E&B shut down:
Offer the players of ShadowBane a free month and free copy of the game.  Give them a new home to come to and you'll probably net 95% of the players leaving shadowbane.

You'll need to act fast though.  The servers shut down on the 15th.

    Apparently this isn't firm yet.  They're making an 'announcement' about Shadowbane on the 15th... not necessarily cancelling it.... though I can't immagine what they'd need a month to prepare to say if it was just "we're keeping the game alive" they would have just said it.  Not sure what's going on with it but if they needed a month to prepare a statement it's either being sold off to someone (SOE? :)  *snickers*) or being closed or going back to fee based....  (right now it's free).
