Okay well I go to the main page www.legendofares.com today to see if the closed beta has started. I see now that you can activate a IGN Fileplanet Key?

I read in the FAQ that you will have to go through Fileplanet to get the client and stuff. I also see that Fileplanet is handling the Closed Beta Keys too, not the LoA people. So I head over to fileplanet... And theres no news or anything over there. But I do see that you can D/L the Client, but you have to be a paying subscriber?

So I'm totally confused. They say that there will be 5000 keys handed out on a first come first serve basis, but they are letting Fileplanet deal with it, and you have to pay to get the client. Also they said they would be updating the page all day, and nothing has happened so I don't know what to do.

Should I be refreshing www.legendofares.com in hopes of being one of the first to sign up?
Should I be refreshing Fileplanet?
Or... is it just going to be one of those 'We let all the paying people go first then whatever is left over you can fight on' thing?

Normally I don't mind the paying fileplanet thing, but this time it would piss me off because there is no news saying you will or won't have to pay to get a 100% of getting in.

    lol.. i thought i was the only one thinking about that..

    im exactly waiting to see what happens, but just waiting will probably not make me to play the Open Beta.

    Isn't it standard for Fileplanet to hand out most of their keys, only for subscribers?
    Not perfectly sure, but as far as i've seen, they do a 'First to come gets it' deal for the subscribers, and then later, when they may have gotten a few more keys, they do the same deal for non-subscribers.

    Man im having trouble making an account for LOA, it keeps saying. ''Please verify the ID for uniqeness.'' What the crap does that mean?

    Oh I had that problem. You HAVE to click the little button next to where you put your Loging ID, so it can check to see if someone already has it. After you do that and click the pop up you can submit.

    im downloading client, and no im not a fileplanet subscriber..

    still i dont have the "digital key", after my download i will put here both one own link and the link i downloaded..

    i hope i can get one of those digital keys, and hope i can help ppl that wants to play

    lol why would anyone pay to subsribe to fileplanet just to play a closed beta.

    If you look on their forums, they say they are sorry and that we should wait for next beta when they will be running it so that everyone can play. As for me, they couldn't pay me to play their game now. If they can't be responsible for their game in beta, what makes anyone think they are going to take responsibilty when it's open to the public and something goes wrong. If the devs of this game are so stupid to think that everyone is going to believe when they say "We didn't make the decision to make it subscriber only", then they are also too stupid to deserve my time playing their game.     The game is mega shit , even for korean mmo. Silkroad is thousand light years ahead of it...and that is in no way a compliment

    lol you really don't want to :P , it sucks....even compared to Silkroad, as was said before...and you can only play it from 10 am to 10 pm

    during those 12 hours the server is lagging like hell because it's totally loaded, so it's practically unplayable...in addition to not being worthy to be played :S

    it true this is another korean mmorpg but its head and shoulders above silk road.

    its basicly the same game we have all played 20 times since priston talke started this variety of mmorpg
