This will be the best game around

in Star Wars Galaxies

  I just want to post and say SWG will be a nice game, IS a nice game, and has the potiential (with its new game engine, and loads of revolutionary features) to be an even nicer game.

 But SWG is a Sci-Fi themed MMORPG. It's only other direct competitor is Anarchy Online. The Sci-Fi MMORPG market is very unexplored territory. A virgin market. SWG will do well, and keep on doing well. There is even room for BOTH SWG and AO to both do well.

 Right now both AO and SWG are successfull MMORPGs.

 As far as being the best game around, that is impossible. First, no game can be both a Tolkien-themed MMORPG and a Sci-Fi themed MMORPG. Spaceships, guns, machines, guns, that travel the land, do not compare to bows and arrows, horses, and possibly flying carpets (an idea EQ2 is toying with.)

 SWG does have the chance to be the best Sci-Fi themed MMORPG around. Right now SWG has more features than AO, but AO has some MAJOR features that even SWG does not have like my most favorite - PvP for actual landcontrol.

 IMHO it is a toss up between EQ2, and possibly Lin2, who will be the best Tolkien-themed MMORPG around.

    One night last week, he got bored and resurfaced 2 year old posts.  At least one of them got locked.

    Yes I'm now monitoring dates. You bring up something 3 months old, let alone 2 years and its going to get locked.

    You actually have to page through to like the 9th page just to find a post that old. Common sense would tell you that its outdated and obviously noone cares to have commented on it since.
