i'm unable to upload an avatar. tried it, couldn't do it, then noticed i was still unactivated. so went ahead and activated thinking this would help. tried again. still no luck. filesize is < limit. file is either .jpg or .gif like asked. and even though it said it would resize if too big, i kept it to a modest 50x50 pixels. still no luck. any ideas? thanks.
edit: just thought of this: is it because im a new account? is there some limitations on what i can do here until after a certain date/postcount/etc? is that it?
