Port question
Is there any way for me to know for sure whether I can play FFXI on a college campus or not? We have a LAN network, and even though I tested the ports on http://scan.sygate.com/prequickscan.html, I still aren't sure whether I can play FFXI or not.
FFXI needs the following ports:
TCP 25, 80, 110, 443 or 50000 - 65535
UDP 50000 - 65535
From the port scan, TCP 25, 80, 110, 443 are all blocked, which will probably make playonline's mail server not work; what about the huge port range? If I was able to play Diablo II on Battle.net, will I be okay to play FFXI?
If anyone can shed some insight on the matter, it'd be great!
